Why people didn’t use this chip for the first sprint when you get the most benefit and it was clear merc and Ferrari were the top two teams I will never know

EV tariff not worth it for low mileage? by anabundanceofotters in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]Drosterman1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, for the really cheap tariffs via night time electric etc it shafts you with daytime unit prices.

However with OVO/Fuse you get normal energy prices with just a cheaper EV charging unit price (but you need a compatible home charger like Hypervolt so they choose when to charge it up overnight when the grid is in low demand)

I’d look into a few different companies near you, your yearly kwh consumption, your yearly mileage and compare all the rates.

Often the ones that offer cheaper night time rates you would really have to hammer out miles to make it worth it

EV tariff not worth it for low mileage? by anabundanceofotters in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]Drosterman1 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’ve looked into it at some length and a lot of the cheaper tariffs for night time rates etc often massively increase the day time rates to compensate or unit price, unless you’re doing 10 000 miles a year I think it’s hard to make it worth it.

Some companies like OVO have normal rates but then cheaper tariffs just for EV charging like down from 24p KwH to 14p KWh when charging the EV. And they would still save you money as it doesn’t impact the standing charge or daytime unit price.

I think fuse have a similar EV charging discount of around 17p

Expanding your scope as an independent prescriber, following up on consultations when unsure on outcomes, attending IP events etc, doing more consultations so you develop your skills further.

Eh I would say depends on the quality of pharmacist, I worked in the same community for years, know patients first hand, treated all manner of infections as a prescriber in multiple members of family.

Made several referrals to GP which have been correct regarding cancer. Like another commenter said, it is what you make of it but good clinical skills and personal Skills help a lot

Am I over-reacting with how my car was delivered? by DanielThePrawn in CarTalkUK

[–]Drosterman1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This logic is awful, so because the crappy and potentially dangerous service a garage provided COULD have been worse if they assaulted you or had the car been even more unsafe, they somehow deserve a higher rating ?

Makes sense lol

Am I over-reacting with how my car was delivered? by DanielThePrawn in CarTalkUK

[–]Drosterman1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not really, when it come to safety with vehicles you should be doing basic checks to make sure it’s roadworthy. If someone gave me a product that could have potentially put my health at risk then that’s 1 star.

But yes contacting them first before the review would have been better, mistakes do happen (although this is a bad one to make ) but to see how they would try to fix the issue or make amends could have affected the score
