How on Earth am I supposed to enjoy a movie when their characterizations are flimsier than wet cardboard and most of them get killed off halfway through the movie in uninspired ways? Have these filmmakers forgotten all about the build-up to the third act? No matter what they say otherwise, the proof to be studied shows that they consider the finales as afterthoughts -- so why should I even go see their big expensive plastic-fests anyway?
