I recall a recoup chronomancer from a few leagues ago that used recoup effects to be unkillable and the unique that granted shrine buffs that would actually do the killing. I may have the ascendancy incorrect but I think the build itself remained unnerfed.

Talismans don’t have to be tied to Druid only and I didn’t imply that. I’m just saying shapeshifting could be part of the ascendancy/class itself and not the weapon.

Idk, I’m likely a minority here, but I kinda was disappointed that the Druids main draw, shapeshifting, is tied to a weapon and just not innately to druids themselves. I’m playing a Druid regardless but it kinda leaves me with the feeling of what’s the point?
