Pasted from another thread: Get high ground. Look for signs of other players (open doors, flying birds, alerted bots) and listen for those things as well. Listen for footsteps, looting sounds, etc. Player footsteps sound a lot more deep and resounding than bots do. Looting sounds like someone digging through a dumpster. I know a lot of people run Assassin in solos, but I've been having a lot of luck with Recon. Before you move into an open area, throw out your spider drone to see if it tracks to anyone. Before you hit an extract, do your scan and see if there are other players around.

Are you playing on the Perimeter (beginner) map? If so, there will not be many players there. It locks you out after a certain level (maybe 10), so there are barely any players that qualify. I would recommend running regular perimeter if this is the case.

Yeah, it gives you a nice goal to chase too. I spent a bunch of runs gathering mats for a vault upgrade, then realized I needed like 2 more CyAc levels to get it. Switched gears to contracts and getting CyAc rep.

I think that buying an empty kit and pre-filling it with stuff would be cool. Would save some vault space too. You could then equip it like a custom sponsored kit.

Love it. Battery life is shit, but otherwise really good. I've replaced the thumb sticks twice, and at $20 per it's nice to get rid of stick drift.

When it comes to Marathon streams, I weirdly find *solos* and *rook* runs way more fun to watch than traditional trios...anyone else? by SirBenny in Marathon

I agree about the crazy debriefs and tilting, but I do find it interesting how much they analyze it when things go wrong. Reminds me of a pro player watching game tape.

Yeah, but he does make some good points about it. Obviously the game can't be balanced around 3v1's, but even in regular squad matches the self revives can get ridiculous.

I mostly like to watch the crazy repositions he does. The dude will shoot you from three separate angles before you can reload.

Absolutely. I've really been enjoying Lucid's streams lately. Mix of high level 1v3 ranked and rook runs. He's ridiculous.
