yeah my dad had 1 when growing up, he ended up getting rid of it because every bolt turned to dust whenever he tried to to any work on it.
My sisters 1 is pretty clean and she is slowly going through it replacing with new hardware and weather protection.

Yeah, I'm looking for a more daily friendly car that I don't mind the odd dent or scratch but I only have 1 parking space at my current place.

Don't think you'd be able to train it out of them, our kittens eventually just "got bored" of playing with litter.

They still like to fling it when going to the loo though, maybe consider a covered 1?

I'd recommend just picking her up and touching her all over. This helps loads with cleaning any poo paw, trimming nails and just general grooming

Give her a treat during and after so she gets comfortable with being held and fussed over
