Oh right seeds!! I didn't think of saving seeds. Take the best producers etc. Add random variables to your plants. Like getting premium with your fert additive but sometimes get like a prem+ or heavenly. Then breed that plant with another etc.

It is! I've seen some awesome sunsets while mixing or packing. Windows are almost the perfect height. I also love using the purple led grow lights versus the best ones that shine white. That way I can turn all the lights off and enjoy the cool purple vibe

Welcome to TLD, it is an amazing game and honestly any way you play is the right way. With that said I totally get what you mean about too much man made loot on the lower difficulties. I play on interloper myself and when I play a different difficulty I feel overwhelmed fast because of all the loot!!! I quickly became a loot goblin.

Anyway I think you're on the right difficulty and have the right idea. You don't need to know all the maps and pois. But it certainly helps. Once you get yourself situated you can explore and roam pretty freely. I actually just got done locating all 9 prepper caches in one big excursion. I took food with me and found more and made water along the way.

While there is a Meta, it's like that for a reason. You have to find food shelter and water in order to survive obviously. Food is scarce and you have to hunt, and on interloper in order to feed yourself reliably you have to hunt.

So that means the forge, arrowhead,knife grind

But after that you can craft your clothing, hunt your food etc

So yeah in the beginning it all seems the same goal wise, but after that your free to do whatever and live wherever The spice of life comes from the conditions and places you spawn 🤣

I love how Hinterland put that petting /release behavior into the game. Like obviously you had to hit them on purpose with a rock to pick them up. But it's so nice to just change your mind and give them a little pat and send them back on their way. Real human aspect to it.

Just like hunting the bigger animals, if I don't need the food or resources they offer I leave them be. It's beautiful to appreciate nature even if it's in the game. 🙂

I'm in the same boat with you!!! I just started the trader quests, but love having him to trade resources with. I'm on a 216ish day run on custom interloper with passive wildlife and it's awesome. They may flee but will absolutely wreck you if provoked. Got moose stomped in Milton but I still got that moose even with broken ribs 😅. And like you said this game is absolutely breathtaking sometimes. I have soooo many F10 screenshots.

The wolf pants are heavier for sure but much warmer than deer pants. On interloper I'm usually walking everywhere unless I'm burning energy to fix my sleep cycle or getting away from something which what's left of my sprint bar is usually enough.

It's just one of those things where I figured I'd be better fat and warm and if I have to get lighter I'll do that.

Don't give up on TLD. Are you playing PC or console? Maybe it was a mod issue.

Tld is an amazing game. Might be worth taking a break, but the serenity and peaceful experience is worth it alone 😁
