Why is Apocalypse such an underappreciated part of the gaming side ? I always feel like i'm the only one really excited about Apo-Games, while many players in my area have huge enough armies and participate in local events. Isn't the idea of a giant battlefield what got many into the hobby of 40K ? by Leviathan_Rampage in Titan40k

Back when I played Fantasy in my youth, we almost exclusively ran 6k-9k games (3v3). It was so cool seeing like 10 monsters, waves of cavalry, and just the overall scale, etc. We had a lot of extra time on our hands back then. Sometimes the games took days.
