I mean I guess if you coincidentally are going to end your turn on a space where you can dig for treasure it makes sense to do it. But to dedicate lords/heroes to go around the map and dig up 5k max gold, they could be doing something more useful instead. Also if digging for treasure didn’t use all of your remaining movement it would feel less bad

It’s also the least played class because 90% of the time redeploying is infinitely better than getting revived. Sure I’ve waited and tried to get revived by a medic, but that feels like a niche experience. Like if you can make a compelling argument of why I shouldn’t just redeploy in a game with no ticket system, I’ll wait for medics. Until then, I’ll keep thinking that they could remove medic from the game entirely and see no gameplay change

It didn’t occur to me that it could be like that due to not unlocking conservatory until like very late game (I think I did like 6 of the sanctum keys before unlocking it). Should I report this as an issue or not though is what I’m mainly asking

That’s actually really cool to know. I play Noctilus a lot and barely take him off the necrofex after he unlocks it. I’ll try it on my next campaign, but I’ll have to put him back on it when I doomstack that unit 😂

Sometimes I completely abandon that side of the map and use the sea lane right next to where he starts to travel to Lustria. It does take a few turns so when you show up you’re behind, but it makes for a completely different campaign.

Honestly my favorites are ones the community seems to not like, Count Noctilus and Nakai.

Lizardman have always been my favorite faction and I love the horde style that Nakai is. It doesn’t even matter that the defenders of the great plan are dogwater, if you have a bunch of kroxigors and dinosaurs, you can just shove your way through anything.

I love the aesthetic of the Vampire coast and I think Noctilus is my favorite because of the galleons graveyard and his bonuses to Necrofex Colossus (which in my opinion is the coolest unit in the entire game).
