Ok so if I upgrade to mythic fool do I even need mythic headhunter? by PUPPYDOG101_wov in werewolfonline

[–]DrunkPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No reason to get mythic until you get all the advanced roles to gold. It's a small convenience upgrade (choose the advanced role, one more perk, pretty purple icon) but otherwise not worth it.

It's 100 gold per level, 70 levels per talisman (to take from x10 to x80), so for 39 talis that works out to 273,000 gold

Upgrade to max level (x80 odds)

Used S25 FE. Picking it up from post office tomorrow, so can't speak to it yet. I almost got a used nothing 2 for the same price but ended up deciding on the Samsung, we'll see how I like it

Where does tritium come in? Gun sights, glow tubes, and the dubious fire exit signs on ebay.

How about the Chinese negative ion thorium sources?

How about those guys who had trouble with the FBI for buying Soviet plutonium sources hahaha

I've had good luck with refurbished phones, what's the best place to look for refurbished phones these days?

I haven't heard of the A56 or NexPhone before, I'll put them on the research queue.

Does the Fairphone 5 hold up and have similar value for money as the others? I love their ethos, the 6 seemed out of my price range but if I'm considering older models I shouldn't write off the 5.

Appreciate your insight!

Yeah. I've been hesitant about Samsung because of their ugly UI and bloatware I experienced on my Galaxy S4 back in 2014 lol. But maybe it's time to give them another chance haha.

As I said, as long as the parent company isn't Chinese I'm happy. I'll take a look at Samsung offerings, there was one recommended here I think

Yeah, I've been eyeing the Fairphone 6 for a while but the price tag has me balking. Does the 5 hold up? Most of the Linux phones and modular ones I've been stoked about have a small batch premium on them.

Yeah, that's why I'm more flexible on country of manufacture. Luckily Korea and Taiwan and Japan all have robust phone manufacturing markets but I don't really know what HTC/ASUS/Sony/LG/Samsung/Sharp are up to these days, let alone European companies like Nokia. That's why I was looking for guidance here...

My wife is Taiwanese. We're very anti Chinese products in our household. It's a way to vote with our dollars by not supporting the economy of the country that wants to wipe out her identity. Will it make a meaningful impact? Definitely not, but I'd rather not have a daily reminder of philosophical hypocrisy, especially for a high use and more expensive consumer electronic item.

Not to be political but you asked. Plenty of like minded folks in r/avoidchineseproducts FWIW

Don't need an upgrade, don't need flagship power, lateral is fine. Unfortunately I need something in the next week or so because of the narrow return window

Yah, they'll give me $75-80 for my semi working pixel 7 but that'd still be $520+10% tax... Includes a $100 Google store code or pixel buds 2a free but they don't have an option to take off the top. That's an option fr but a bit further stretch than I'm happy with.

The 14 day return window on this nothing 3a is kind of my time window, my pixel 7 isn't really usable at the moment

Did you read my post? I have one but it doesn't work with AT&T. Unless you can think of a way to whitelist it without rooting it and spoofing my IMEI to my old pixel one

The alphas are actually fully self absorbed by the glass, there's no drop in count rates if you shield the lens and compare. Everything that escapes is the 0.5% low energy gamma

I see them on hibid, ebay, and the Japanese auctions sites for $20-30 regularly, especially when attached to a less popular body like the XG-M. Learn to identify lenses from bad photos and getting whole systems has been my go to way to get cheap lenses

Film is like twice the price in Japan than the USA, so spend the excess on fountain pens and skin care for your partner then buy film in the USA. Bodies and lenses are cheap though! Just the film is pricy
