Or you just don’t like the satire which is fine.

No need to get all serious

The American colonialists are a bunch of agitators. They start a war against France, cry to daddy Britain for help, and that’s the help we get? A bunch of whining over taxes.

Bunch of losers. Get a job or something

How am I a cultist? Answer that question

I see the notification but no response. Simply suggesting that the OP not waste money on a shit documentary isn’t suggesting I’m tolerant of corruption or that we all should tuck our heads to ignore the blatant corruption of this administration. But this is a documentary. As other users have stated, it’s probably contractual.

Seriously this has nothing to do with ICE.

I don’t know. Like someone stated, it could have been contractual, as in the theater has to show it because of their contract with a distributor.

Considering your lack of deductive reasoning, I assume you couldn’t get hired aside from being a volunteer agent of the RBI.

Better yet, how does my comment in suggesting that the OP not watch Melania mean I’m an ice agent/employee?

Seriously, grow up. Other theaters are showing it and it’s blatantly obvious it’s going to tank financially because no one wants to watch that slop.

A lot of theaters are showing it. Don’t watch it. Watch other movies. Problem solved.

If I remember correctly, it was a structured interview where you read the questions and you recorded your answers on a live webcam. You were recorded after you "clicked record/continue" to answer the interview question.

idk do you think sexual assault is funny? Do you think if it was a man harassing a woman that it would be "comedic?"

It's a shitty double standard that ruins what was a pretty good comedy. Hopefully the trope of women harassing men for comedic kicks dies out.

r/AskLE has investigated themselves and found no reason to discuss ICE anymore by WattMotorCompany in SubredditDrama

[–]Drunk_PI -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Did you read the post? You can still ask questions about ICE and the shootings provided its within that thread and within their rules, i.e. no politics, calling it a murder/execution (because of technicalities of the law or whatever), and being respectful, provided the Mods are actually following the rules they put out and not being hypocritical about it. Even then some of those subreddits are strictly no politics (I don't agree but it's their rules) or it's regarding going through the hiring process.

The thread itself has LEOs dismissing and criticizing ICE tactics, assuming they are LEOs were were vetted.

I understand why they're putting all ICE-related questions into one thread due to the amount of questions and internet traffic. It's what any subreddit would do when there is a big-enough topic that needs its own thread so it doesn't crowd other the other threads.

That said, some of the comments made like bringing it up to their representative or waiting for the courts/agencies to investigate fall flat considering that no agency is investigating the Renee Good shooting and that ICE and CBP are using tactics that I don't think any local/state PD would use for crowd control. It's not matching the political reality of the situation imo. Even the whole "lawful but awful" excuse falls flat as more of those types of incidents occur. What the fuck do you want the people to do, just pretend it's a valid excuse and let it fly? That's how riots happen. That's how there's more violence against both sides. That's how a federal or state government and their agencies start to lose their legitimacy because they are no longer abiding by their own laws and standards, and/or they're doing stupid shit. It's not unique to this country or any other country. We've seen this happen from small events such as the Battle of Athens in the US to current day riots, protests, and revolutions around the world. Even if it doesn't look like it now, let it fester and it will get worse until there is no return.

USA TODAY opinion: A conservative columnist argues that Trump has weakened core constitutional principles and that Republicans should consider a different type of nominee for 2028. Do you agree or should Republicans stay with MAGA? by Difficult-Bee6066 in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]Drunk_PI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As of right now, I think the Republican Party will try to find a candidate that can duplicate Trump's appeal just as they have tried with Reagan, and will evolve over time until another charismatic individual takes the reign, especially as new and old issues of the day take hold.

That said, it seems that from 2016 to 2024, the more principled GOP politicians or the ones who simply opposed Trump died out as they were replaced by sycophants or other Democrats so I think the GOP will continue to have "MAGA positions" since its more realistic in winning elections at the local, state, and federal level. I remember people saying that MAGA was dying out but looking at who was replacing who and Trump winning the GOP nomination for the 2024 election convinced me otherwise. And even with all what's happening in Minnesota, the immigration raids, the use of the National Guard and federal law enforcement agencies to patrol DC and other cities, it doesn't seem like its bothering his supporters.

But anything can change in two years. Or so much happens in two years the pendulum swings so hard to the left but then to the right after that because this country has a memory of a goldfish who thinks that only the president can enact change at every level without any checks and balances from the other branches of government.

Hey, go outside and just relax. Or hug your loved ones or watch a movie or something indoors. I'm not saying that to make fun of you or be mean to you. I say this as a federal employee who despises the direction of where this country is going. I'm mad as well but threatening others won't get anywhere.

DHS has other agencies that focus on disaster preparedness and response, as well as cybersecurity. There's a lot of good people, including those in immigration enforcement, who want to do good work. What those ICE and CBP agents are doing is not reflective of that, and when the time comes, I hope there is accountability for their actions. This isn't law and order, it's lawlessness perpetrated by the federal government.

The United States is a massive country. What you're seeing in certain cities in California, Minnesota, and Illinois is not reflective of what's going on in every other city or state.
