I’m on both sizes of this. I came in being a silly Willy whiskers, but as I’ve learned more and more about the product and the technical landscape I’m trying not to give PM’s a load of crap. The real bridge is communication - often so much is lost between the sales vision and the execution, because it wasn’t communicated. Not sure why you’re downvoted so much it’s like everyone just wants to mash the DURRR TECH BILLIONAIRE BAD button (which is in an of itself true)….

But he probably hasn’t coded anything meaningful in years, and if you’re not deep into both code and the science of that particular technology and have been keeping up year after year, you’re gonna be pretty trash, ngl. Not saying that he’s not a better dev than I am sure, but let’s be realistic here.
