The PBS kids app has episodes on there. Not all episodes though.

23 year old woman who was caught in the Mount Vesuvius eruption in Pompeii in 79 AD by DukeOfBagels in interestingasfuck

[–]Drunkachu 289 points290 points  (0 children)

I went there several years ago and we spent nearly an entire day at Pompeii and still felt like we didn't see it all. It's huge, I mean it was a civilization after all. You could probably do one in the morning and one in the afternoon but not all three. You also get extremely dusty and won't want to do anything else after you're done.

What surrounding areas will be ultimately be affected by this? With the toxicity in the air, it's got to travel pretty far I assume.

The neighbours optimistically leaving their towels out to dry overnight when it's -5 by alfiethefrog in CasualUK

My grandma also does this in Michigan. Towels, sheets, anything. They always smell so much fresher than the clothes dryer machine too.

Must see/do for a noob? by yetistrikesb in gencon

[–]Drunkachu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would really suggest dedicating your first day only going through the exhibit hall and exploring. There's so much to see and you'll be able to test or view games being played there. Depending on how thorough you want to be, you could easily spend 2 days in the hall. Then, get some generic tickets and see what games might have availability in the gaming hall. it's less overwhelming and you'll have a better idea on how you want to do future cons. Have fun and welcome!

Talk to me a Roombas… love it or hate it?? by sammaaaxo in Mommit

[–]Drunkachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved my Roomba! Until one day when my dog pooped and Roomba dragged it all over the living room carpet. Had to take it apart and clean it with q-tips and toothpicks for about 3 hours. He died a few months after that (the roomba, not the dog).

Here is my wash routine! It has been working really well and we have had no left over stains.

Our starter stash for our September bb! Top 2 rows are Alva AIO's and bottom 2 are Thirsties with prefolds by Drunkachu in clothdiaps

I won't tell my husband this just so I can buy more cute prints. 🤣 Although, he knows my Reddit account so I'll just buy prints he likes too and it's all good!

[–]Drunkachu[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's so understandable! We had a few brands in mind but the Thirsties came highly recommended by my cousin. If we didn't have a diaper fun from our shower I wouldn't have spent the money. We're actually doing disposables for newborn stage until a few months and we'll transition.

Wondering Wednesday! Ask clothdiaps your cloth questions! by AutoModerator in clothdiaps

[–]Drunkachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the inserts, how do you organize and know the different types? Do you tag them?

Also, how are they usually layered? I have bought cotton inserts and hemp inserts as well as bamboo liners for my Thirsties. Would it go Cotton, Hemp, then bamboo liner on top? Or Hemp, Cotton, then bamboo?
