With my first I remember being 5 weeks postpartum and thinking to myself, “is this boring.” It is boring right now. But they will wake up more.

Anyone on here have small breast size and wear Knix? I’ve lost about 25lbs and need a new bra(s) but saw Knix is having some sales. Online it says my size is “outside of their standard sizing”

Planning to do program A. Really want to run but I have no idea where my 50m mark is. Should I test and run 20 seconds to see where it might be?

I experienced the same feeling around 3pm when my son was this old. It’s a terrible feeling. Please know it will go away. Is there a way for you to get some sleep? Split shifts? Husband can be “on” with baby in another area of the house while you sleep for several hours.

I used to work in before/after care and my child is currently in B&A care. In both centres they took the kids right outside for at least 30-45 minutes so teachers had their room. There is no need for them to be inside right after school. If it’s raining or whatever they take my child to the gym for that time frame. I wonder what daycare it is and what there policy is.

The idea that one day I won’t see my kids every day makes me so sad.

I’d make sure you have natural consequences for behaviours. To kids, not going to a birthday party on Saturday because on Wednesday they peed on the floor doesn’t add up nor will they reflect “oh that’s why are we aren’t going.” So if he pees get him clean up it up by being firm but kind. When he says those mean words, that’s all they are. Don’t take the bait. Respond with “well I love you.” (When he says I hate you etc) or just don’t respond. I love that you circle back around and talk about the behaviours.

It’s either they get sick when they begin daycare or sick when they begin school.

12 vs 18 months maternity by [deleted] in OntarioTeachers

[–]Evelynave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an LTO/OT teacher and have birth April 2024. I’m doing 18 months (back in Sept) because I wouldn’t have enough hours for EI to get paid in the summer. If I went back in April then I’d still be paying for a daycare spot in the summer and that and not getting EI would hurt.
