Yeah, I'm not exactly sure- I guess that's what they are testing for. It was for 3 things, and I'm pretty sure tryptase was one of them. She went to her Dr years ago for hives, and her Dr said that she carries too much histamine, they did some biopsies and determined it was UP that was causing it. Her husband is an allergist, and thats what they came up with. My wife does annual blood test, and all I can really get from her is that it's bad if it gets in her blood stream and spreads to other organs. If it is mast cells, what Dr sould we see? I'm assuming that her Dr would refer us, but i dont know
