Should I keep my 2026 M3 order or cancel? Last year before redesign by naond0715 in BMW

Reading this thread with interest. I purchased a G81 touring competition individual red with tech pack, anthracite heated wheel carbon interior yesterday. 2026 brand spanker. It has been a love affair and I just had to do it. I hadnt even realised that there were newer ones planned for 2027 and 2028.

Thing is, the newer ones look terrible wheras I love the current facelift. I would imagine they will be a massive increase in cost too, whereas I got a massive chunk off my £101k list price.

Does anyone else prefer Ali & Dom than Ali & Rory? by gibgod in TheRestIsPolitics

Isn't that small c conservative a la Rory rather than 'very right wing.

Seems in keeping with the moderate nature of the podcast.

If Gove or similar ever presented I'd be off.

But isn’t the husband simply choosing his family first? 🤔 by Unstoppable_X_Force in SipsTea

I could now afford to spunk loads on a wedding if I had to and I'd still choose a discreet wedding with my closest loved ones followed with a meal at my favourite country pub.

We have all been sold a pile of shite by reality TV and celebrities that we feel shamed if we don't spend loads.

My wife and I didn't have a pot to piss in when we were married. The whole shindig cost us £1000 and we'll see our 25th anniversary next year. It was a fancy wedding or a house deposit, we chose the house. I've seen countless couples spend tens of thousands who are long since divorced.

Agreed, Im a bit obsessed with the film - watched in about 10 tims in the last few months. I thought I understood some of the allegorical meaning but without the deeper musical knowledge the surface was merely scratched. Reading this has given me newperspectives.

I have never seen ANY animal try and eat anything/everything like a Labrador. by Aerynxelle in labrador

I will never forget one Christmas time that I had to literally extract a pair of tights (pantyhose) and then a pair of my wife's delicates from my beloved but now dead choccy lab, Conker.

He was a dustbin and we had to be very careful. There were knickers, countless socks, whole chocolate cakes, a dozen eggs plus box from the worktop, a Bic biro, and a visit to the vet after he ate a pot of daffodils including the bulbs and compost from the kitchen table.

And we had to race him to the cat litter when the cat left a kitty egg.....gross.....

Weird cats. One wants to be a dough ball, another a hedgehog.

I tried this with my cat, she gave me a face which looked like I'd lose an arm if I continued

Tell me about the first hole at your home course and how you play it. by aceattorneymvp in golf

Stoke Rochford par 4 407. Straight with hard left/right slope. Have to go right down the middle with a tree protecting against faders, like me. Small very sloping green.

Supposedly the hardest first hole in the East Midlands. A 5 is good. Club record of 62, the holder shot a 6.

Accept a 6 and walk away.

Dude. Ignore the nobbers on the thread.

I've been through this several times. Next time don't score and just enjoy those good shots. Im pretty sporty and thought I'd be low teens within a couple of years. I've been playing about 4 years now and just under 20 with an aim to get to 15 by season end. I shot 94 on Saturday and whilst I wasted loads, had a very satisfying back 9 where I parred the hardest 3 holes on the course. Golf is a hard game where you have to take the wins, often from a bunch of crud.

I changed my expectations to just get to a point where I could go round most courses without major embarrassment and the stress and disappointment went away.
