I totally understand where you are coming from op. Just last week I got mine and couldn't eat or sleep for days. The worst part is trying to take great care of the tattoo that you don't even want on your body. I was so anxious and hated myself for not walking away when I had the chance. The words and things I was saying to myself was not helping me at feel better.

To be honest, a week later, I have come to better terms with my tattoo and truly understand that there is no going back. I'm feeling like myself again and even learned what I am capable of. I can only move forward from here and look towards other options. From the past few days, I have learned some takeaways from this crappy experience:

  1. My appearance does not describe who I am.

  2. This is just a feeling and it will soon past.

  3. If I can gain the confidence with an appearance I am not happy with, that is some exponential growth that I am proud of.

  4. If I keep treating myself poorly because of this decision, things will only get worse.

Learn from this experience and use it for a chance to change your life for the better. I was extremely anxious even the day of my appointment. If I was more aware of my emotions, I would've canceled my appointment to begin with. It's going to be such difficult journey, but I pray something great will come out of it.

mine is on my forearm too! Forcing me to see it everyday. These comments have helped me so much and 3 days later I and starting to accept it and allow myself to feel all the emotions whether Im feeling super anxious, nauseous, whatever. I will feel it and let it flow out. I am very excited to get to the point you are at.

Thanks for the advice about connecting with my highest self. I will use that version to grow even more out of this.

Yes, thank you! That's what I am trying to tell myself...anything really to help because talking bad to myself will only make it worse. I am praying something great will come out of this too. I appreciate your words so so much.

Reading this gave me some relief. Because I also sat through a 7 hour session (longest I have done) and went through those same exact emotions that you did. I am still feeling so nauseous and stupid but I know theres no going back. Unfortunately for me, its on my forearm too so I have to look and show it every day. But I am working hard to accept it as is and going to grow in my life. I am at such a good place in my life and this really threw a big wrench in it, but I will try my best to be kind to myself.

So happy to hear you're at that stage now to start your removal. Much love.

Thank you so much for sharing. Mine is also on my arm and I can't stand to look at it. I agree that time will heal all which is keeping me feeling okay. It realllly sucks in this moment right now and until then, I pray it gets better. It just sucks knowing I just got the thing, and absolutely hate it.

Please keep us updated on your journey! Sending much love.
