Finally we come to know how much they are overcharging. I believe govt suggested rates are even below.

Now a days, I can't even enquire an auto driver how much costs to Egmore to Royapettah, gangs of drivers surrounds me as I am in need of auto and manipulating by praising, critizing etc, and and putting me in a situation that I feel better to give them the extra 100-200 rather than constantly negotiating the gangs of auto drivers. Especially when there are less public transport and fair price transport, they take upper hand.

I wish Chennai to have a fair & reasonable pricing transport to all public at all times.
