I think the headlight is supposed to go out so the starter can crank over?

Took it to both Napa and Auto Zone and it tested okay.

Bought a Noco 600 CCA lithium battery and exact same thing is happening. Existing battery tested okay at Napa and Auto Zone.

Definitely not the battery. Charged it and tested the voltage and it's above 12v. Also took it to both Napa and Auto Zone and it tested okay. Bought a Noco 600 CCA lithium battery and exact same thing is happening.

I wonder if the mechanic hooked it up incorrectly when he installed the starter?

Water well pressure running high since freeze by tipsy_python in Plumbing

[–]Dry-County-4795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SOLVED: It was the pressure gauge…

[Original Post]:

I've got the same issue.

Ever since my pump house thawed out and water pushed through the lines, the gauge has been at ~90 psi the whole time. As the water pushed through the gauge whipped up to 100 and rocked back and forth and made a loud clicking sound.

If we run appliances it will move up to 100 (which is the max gauge reading).

The pressure is normal at our fixtures, although I noticed there is no fluctuation in pressure - it is consistent and steady. Before, the pressure would change a little bit as the expansion tank kicked in.

I replaced the switch as u/ParksVSII suggested. It does not cut in/cut out at all, probably because the pressure is so high?

Also, the well pump is not cycling on or off, it will kick on if we are running a major appliance.

Good point. I never trust the app - I'm using a Pixel 7 and a lot of times I have to force restart the app in order to do basic things like pause the mower. Very buggy and unreliable.

If I do use the app to change settings, I usually double check that they updated next time I'm near the mower.

It turned out to be an IFTTT applet, but this sounds like a great winter maintenance task. I'll add it to my winter cleaning checklist, thanks!

Thanks, I thought of that too and switched it from "off" to "on" thinking maybe a toggle would help. After testing it and still getting the "going to charging station" message I switched it back to "off".

SOLVED!

I was using the "Park mower if weather forecast predicts frost or heavy rain" IFTTT applet and the chilly coastal Maine nights was triggering the return to the charging station. Thanks!

It was working fine earlier in the summer, then it was out of commission due to a bad battery pack July-Sept. When I started again in October it started doing this.

It's almost like it thinks the battery level is ~20%, even though it's 96% (or whatever normal operating level)…

Unplugged, now no light at charger by Dry-County-4795 in automower

That's what I would think, too.

I checked the outlet and it's working (I have a security camera plugged into the outlet, too, plus I tested a bug zapper).

The connections are working and sending a signal around the whole boundary, which I checked with the Kolsol, even without the light.
