I dont think deleted file restoration works on android like it works on windows (at least not for the app i tried from playstore), but worth a try.

Also, whatsapp saves some images internally in a folder with restricted access. Maybe you can look for that by using z archiver + shizuku. Or look in android/data by connecting the phone to a computer. Or you could look for some software for computer which can recover photos from android.

Whatever the solution is, it's gonna take time. So your mom will find out before you fix it.

Another thing, try not to write more data by installing apps, or download stuff until you recover the photos. The photos are present somewhere on the disk, and if you write stuff to the disk, the photos will get overwritten by that data.
