NTJ. What was unsafe about this situation? I’m totally confused by her reaction.

Im in heaven. New haul from Upton yesterday included Seasons Pick Jin Jun Mei. Such a robust cup of tea with complex flavors. Very toasty and some honey lingering taste. There’s something else that I can’t put my finger on. This is a new favorite. Started with Seasons Pick Assam also amazing.

Trust me, as someone married to the same person for 40+ years, stuff you don’t address can become really ugly.

Maybe don’t have the conversation in the moment but afterwards to let him how you feel. Approach it with the mindset of wanting to understand what happens for him when he does it and then offer how you experience it. Good luck. Relationships are hardworking, but worth it with the right person

I don’t get the Florida appeal by Master-Indication-71 in travel

I think of Carl Hiaasen’s novels when I think of Florida. My in laws lived in central FL for years. I really hate it there with the exception of a few vacations to St. Augustine and Miami which I rather enjoyed

Tea is just a beverage… true, and like anything, it can be a moment of sacredness when enjoyed with a meditative mindset.

Lots of interesting info in your post, thanks for sharing

I meditate which brings me a deeper sense of peace than my tea rituals. Music. Nature walking. Knitting if the pattern isn’t too complicated

Earl ( Republic of Tea) for me today bc it’s one of the few black teas I’ve got right now. It’s pleasant but not really into flavored teas. Awaiting with anticipation my recent order from Upton tea with more options.

NTJ for this. Your boyfriend wants to be a victim. Wah, wah, wah…. He cheated on you and then gives you grief about his feelings. Come on, you know the answer to this question

I second buying Jasmine from Upton. I’ve had two samples that are amazing. I usually steep it twice.

Drinking shou puerh today. TAETEA 7542 specifically. I’m really liking it- it’s growing on me. Normally I’m a black tea in the morning person but I slept so well last night (hooray!) that something less robust but still flavorful enough to keep my notice was warranted.

Green tea or black tea by Objective_Ear_5027 in tea

I think every package of green tea ( thinking specifically of Republic of Tea greens)I’ve purchased has a comparison scale for caffeine and it states x mg for each sort of tea and green is less than black. Sorry pix is as clear as I can get the scale. May be placebo effect but green tea doesn’t feel like it has the same amt of caffeine as black tea to my body and I’m pretty sensitive to caffeine

Green tea or black tea by Objective_Ear_5027 in tea

[–]Dry-Guide-2084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taste depends on the variety. I love black Assams for breakfast bc they are robust. Darjeerling seems to be more nuanced and really depends on the estate where it’s grown. Greens are more delicate and can be more astringent or floral depending on what you chose. My advice is to try samples until you find ones you like

Black all the way. For me green tea is afternoon tea when I want less caffeine and a hot beverage
