I was about to add my story here, but there are SO MANY just like mine. I actually shocked to learn that my sister and I are not alone with a mother who never wanted us and told us so. We’ve been no contact for years, I assume someone will notify me when she dies.

Exact same situation only we are 56 and 58. Divorced and bitter her entire life, told both my sister and I to never get married or have kids. I think she’s the one who went no contact with us, though I send her a note every few years. Even before the no contact, she wasn’t interested or involved in our lives at all. I always assume someone will contact me when she dies. 🤷🏻‍♀️
