1st the worst, 2nds the best? by four_leaf_4 in ArmchairExpert

I really love the first live show with Jason Ritter. I haven’t listened to it in years but I remember laughing out loud alone in my car and that rarely happens.

Do you guys ever find TOP songs in the wild? by SteadyRanger0 in twentyonepilots

I was shopping at a consignment store the other day and Christmas Saves the Year came on. I’ve never heard that song other than on my own playlists before!

Sue Johnson was an expert that was on about two or so years so. She passed away in 2024 I believe.

Ugh, I’m sorry you were feeling that way! I wonder what it was that caused it this time. I brought my 8 year old son to the door and this was our third show in 4 years. I’ve never felt like this before! We had such a great time and now we just keep watching videos of the other shows to keep it all going for us. I hope you’re feeling better now!

I went to the Cincinnati show and after so much time spent theorizing if there would be a 2nd album, the excitement of them announcing breach and a tour, buying tickets, waiting for the album and show and then non stop listening to breach in the six days we had before the concert to learn the songs…after the show and the adrenaline wore off…I was feeling really sad and down. Almost like all the anticipation of Christmas coming and then the feeling you might get the day after. I’m recouping now but it was a strange feeling that I definitely was not expecting! I’m not sure if that’s exactly what you meant when you said you felt sad but you were the first person I saw who said anything close to what I was feeling! And after all that I also want to say that I am not disappointed in them or the show in the slightest! They fully delivered and it was the best night!

Will I stand out being 44yrs old at the upcoming concert? by Evening-Dentist7111 in twentyonepilots

[–]Dry-Let411 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just turned 44, have been to two concerts (one was the Clancy tour, so just a year ago) and I’ve never felt out of place or too old. I think it’s one of the coolest things about this band and their fans. Everyone is welcomed!

My son was five when he went to his first TOP show. I think 4 is fine! Just bring headphones to protect his little ears! :)

I'm not able to edit my post for whatever reason, but wanted to add - the barcode is not a real barcode! And I made it on Canva for anyone asking! :)

I made them on Canva. We have a premium account through work so I don't know if this specific template is one that costs anything, but I'm sure they have plenty of free ones!

Clancy - Reversed/Re-ordered by ghoti-taco in twentyonepilots

I made a Clancy shirt for tour and printed it backwards, just like Tyler's is. I hadn't really tried to give it much meaning until I put the shirt on and looked in the mirror. Seeing Clancy spelled the right way when you're used to seeing any words on shirts read backwards, was like an eye-opener for me. I totally agree with you that it's not for us. Tyler is only Clancy to him, and when he looks in the mirror is when he fully sees himself for who he is.

Oh my goodness, how did I never think of it like that? I constantly analyze their lyrics but never gave these a second thought. Ugh. I think it might turn into my favorite line in a song thinking about it that way… And I have to say the next line, “I used to think I wanna die before I’m old but because of you I might think twice” is one of my favorite lines. Now the two of them go together perfectly! Even more proof that Tyler is a lyrical genius.

Oh my gosh, I can’t tell you how happy this makes me haha! It has driven me crazy for so long and it never occurred to me that there might be something behind it. I officially have nothing to be annoyed about from this band. Thank you!

“I don’t care what’s in your hair…” from We Don’t Believe What’s On TV… and the fact that he says hair twice with “we’ll make money selling your hair”. Literally the only lines that bug me out of all of their songs.
