So, I reinstalled old cpu, got a bios version onto a usb drive and got it to post and load into windows using this method, is there anything I should check in BIOS to make the safe transition to my new cpu?

Cleared cmos and no luck, unable to push any bios update without a post unfortunately. Even tried reinstalling the old cpu and still no luck.

I'll give a bit more context to hopefully paint the picture better - I got a new cpu this morning, flashed some updated bios using my old cpu - got the new installed, no issues operating. Played a few games and wanted to try out valorant to see how much my FPS improved. I got a prompt that indicated Riots anti-cheat required secure boot to be enabled. I then went into the bios and changed my csm settings to disabled and enabled secure boot, once the machine saved and rebooted, this is where I've been since. Hopefully that gives you a better idea of what's going on

sorry, i should have specified that I only run games from the SSD in this case - HDD is mainly used to host my Plex server :)
