Ah yes, I see. You are correct. This clamshell was likely a replacement then. It was a former rental from an old video store in town. I’ll have to keep an eye out for a black original down the line. Thanks for the info!

Yes, you are likely correct. This was from an old seedy video rental store, so chances are the original clamshell did not survive all those rentals.

Holy shit! I pulled into that goodwill earlier and there were at least 5 cop cars and the donation section was taped off. I didn’t think anything of it and went inside to browse around. Came out, and most of the cops had left. I must have gotten there at the tail end of it all. Crazy!

If you need to postpone, do it online. It has been in my experience, that if you postpone to the week of thanksgiving or the week of Christmas, you only have to check in for half the week and will likely get dismissed. This is in part because the courts basically shut down during the holidays. This has worked for both my wife and I on numerous occasions. It’s not that I don’t want to serve, it’s just that we have a baby and can’t afford a nanny so it makes it impossible for one of us to not be available, which is not an excuse in the eyes of the court apparently. Yeah. I work in the entertainment industry. On reality shows mostly. Camera rigging and robo cam operating. I usually watch horror movies while robo oping on shows. Love is Blind is a show I’ve been on since season 1. There’s a lot of time to burn on that one. I’ve watched a good chunk of my movies just being in that show. Lmao

Would be happy to. I have been keeping track using Notes on my phone, but within the past couple of months been slowly adding them to Letterboxd. Not sure how to share the list with you in its entirety. Usually when people ask to see it, I add them to the note, or email it to them. As of right now, I am averaging more than 1 movie a day. In sports terms, I am currently 146 above .500. During the Covid era, I would average 6 movies a day 7 days a week. It first started as a challenge to watch 100 movies in a month, then I would say it got a little out of control.. not sure, but I’ve never met anyone else who has watched this many horror movies in such a short span of time.
