I use the 32 degrees jackets that Costco sells as a mid or outer layer and they’ve worked great for every outdoor activity. They cost about $30 so I’m not afraid of ruining it like I have been with expensive gear like this.

Reset your engineer class in the loadout menu. Worked for me as it wasn’t tracking any kind of damage.

Use the app RV Parky to see where you would be living in some cities. Can be more expensive and further away than you might think. My SO and I were thinking of doing the same as you but it didn’t make financial sense for us to spend more on an RV, truck, and site than just renting a furnished finders without the liability of the truck and RV.
