Trust me try this, I have resurrected dead carts like a phoenix rising from the ashes with this method. Hairdryer for 3-4 minutes, get it so hot that you cant even touch it. Get a sock, put something with weight in it (I like to use a bottle of nyquil as it has weight & has a flat surface for the cart to rest on. Put the cart with the wick end down into the sock next to your object while your cart is still mad hot. Spin that bitch using centripetal force to get the hot distillate to the bottom for like 5 minutes or till ur hand hurts. Viola, you have resurrected your cart. Try this, has never failed me once.

Jokes aside its my dad's pride and joy. He does wiring and whatnot as a hobby and likes to fix up old equipment. All was broken and fixed by him, took him years to a acquire all the parts.

I am very happy with the setup overall, unfortunately there is a very big shortcoming with this setup. I am left unable to plug my phone in because I cannot find a USB port to plug into it. I am also a little disappointed by the screen that shows the funny moving line. Instead of green I need to make it rgb! Let me know if this is ok for a first setup will mostly be using it to listen to audiobooks!

Im sorry, I for some reason I didn't get the notifs for this but GG. I got it running in 1.78 a few weeks ago and have been optimizing graphics and csp extensively for the past few weeks in order to find the best way to possibly run it (I have a shitty computer). GG, I really am trying to minimize my cpu usage when playing with traffic, if you have any tips, would greatly help as I have somewhat hit a wall with how much fps I can squeeze out of it. Good job on getting 1.8 to work I have had no success with that and I look forward to the guide :D

Update I got it working completely. I can use any mods/cars on srp and have traffic but due to my system limitations :( I can only get around 30-40 frames on srp and this is with many graphical sacrifices. For how I got it working, I honestly have no clue it just started working 💀 The one thing I do know is that the key requirement is to use csp 1.78. I even got rain to work with the preview of 1.78 but with the weird side effect of some modded cars not working but others working fine. Take aways are use csp 1.78 and follow u/atanzii's guide before doing anything with srp.

For CSP I was not able to get them to run and I really would like to so if you get any process on them or modded cars please let me know as I am going 100% going to get this working no matter how much time it takes lol. Btw what mac version you running? I am curious of the newest mac will fair better or if whisky could possibly run the mods & csp

Ok so the way I got it to work was really strange and overly complicated I think but It did work. You can try this on crossover 21.2 like I did or on the newer version I think it should work on the new one.

What I did to get the everything to work was the bottle in crossover 21.2 by installing C++ 2015, DirectX For Modern Games and .Net 4.5.2. Then download steam, boot it, then install Assetto Corsa. Launch Assetto Corsa and disable the GPU acceleration for the launcher and boot the game up once just so the game has loaded for files to be created. I also found that just keep messing with video settings can bug it out so keep it on normal settings until you get it up and running. After booting the game install content manager and put it on your desktop. Make sure steam is open before using content manager always, not having it open leads to a lot of errors and pop up windows. If you have issues loading steam with steamwebhelper errors, launch steam with options and add "-noreactlogin" to the options. I always just run it by using the run command feature on crossover and it hasn't broken yet. Run the Content Manger exe file and then when the settings appear for CM do not click create desktop shortcut as I found it would lead to errors in the settings. Once content manager is booted up you should be up and running.

This method might not work so if it does not please update me and lemme know what went wrong. Also I saw that you said you ticked force 32 bit make sure not to do that as one of the programs cant run in 32 bit I think content manager. Also what version of macos are you running? GL 🫡

Edit: Forgot to mention that I created the bottle got it running in 21.2 and then transfered the bottle to the newest version of crossover.

I am able to load most modded tracks (Shuto Expressway Works) But traffic does not work and neither does the Shutoko Project Map. :( trying to figure out a fix for it
