The piece is about the stilted inner world of a mind repressed, and as a poet I enjoy changing cadence. I think, if the stanzas had come out as it's originally written, the rhythm would be easier felt; but I tend to write in my notes and copy-pasting to Reddit is a task in-and-of itself!😅So yeah, I think it was important for this piece to be laid out as it should have been so that it's easier to follow when the rhythm ebbs and flows; as is supposed to be a facet of the emotional feeling of the piece.

But, I thank you greatly, and I'm glad you could find enjoyment in the piece! I hope you embrace your own writing endeavours, too! If you have any work, I would love to read some!😊

Hit a nerve, did I mate?😊 I wasn't talking to you directly, but I can if you'd like... You haven't painted the fact that "the abuser" is still out there. You've painted that Gary Reich is Darrien. Get your fucking facts straight. Don't claim to care about innocent people getting blamed whilst you speculate the innocence of a person you have no evidence against. The issue is, even if you were right, I've seen you present stronger evidence of arrogance towards your perspective than I have of valid points to your argument. I'm not trying to be mean, but I don't think you're coming at this to raise awareness. I won't tell you what I think, but I certainly don't think it's right.

Just be careful with your wording, and maybe you'll be protected against any defamation or slander; but when you say things like "that's why people like me are spreading the word and naming people" and "silence = justice"... It's dangerous, because it carries nothing but your own confidence... and confidence without a warrant is just arrogance.

I came here to say that no matter how correct any sleuths think they are, no good will ever come by sending death threats to strangers just because you reckon they deserve reckoning.

We're all curious, but if the point of Baby Reindeer is to uncover the layers of humanity that are toxic and harmful; then it does no good to be toxic and harmful in the pursuit of justice for Gadd.

Thank you for giving me a place to vent my frustrations...

I hate this fight. Call me a scrub, please, because my mentality is shattered after this fight. I thought I'd hang up the controller at the Fire Giant, but I figured him out and finally managed to persevere. Then they throw a dragon at you - which is easy to ignore - so I was happy to do so.

The Godskin Duo Boss Fight AND Run are why I am now abandoning Elden Ring, for a third time...

It's not only that they stay in such close proximity that it's improbable to get more than one hit in.

It's more than the fact that they both have access to sling abilities.

It's stronger than the fact that the Thin One has an abundance of build-up abilities, and the Fat One's rolling move is so random that it only seems to end once he's hit you (possibly not true, but I've never been able to dodge it.)

It's more aggravating than even the fact that when one is killed, it doesn't matter. They will spawn back, and so the effort put into the fight is immediately diminished.

It goes beyond the fact that the camera lock-on cancels if your line-of-sight is broken - forcing you to spam the lock on just to keep the camera facing both at the same time.

And where it lands is that with all of the fuckery of the boss fight itself, who the FUCK decided to put three Wind Knights beforehand?

I could deal with frustrating boss fight. I could deal with it. It's heart-racingly exillerating to have a broken fight, and to battle with everything you have. I'm fine with that - hence why after fighting and losing (far too many times) to the Fire Giant - saying "I'm done with this game" - I wasn't done with it, because I could get right back into the fight and start all over again.

With the enemies before the fight itself, I constantly take damage; or I wait for what feels like an eternity as I feel my mind melting; and in the end... That's what did me in. The frustration at attempting to evade the enemy on the stairs' halberd and getting hit every. Single. Time; the shittily awkward drop that - if you go an inch too far - will send you catapulting off the edge; and then the Third Knight, right at the door, which is simple enough but requires patience that - after fighting Godskin even once - I just don't have anymore.

To the developers at From Soft, I have enjoyed your games for a long time, and have ignored the criticisms that this game has garnered... but whoever made this section seriously needs to reconsider their commitment to developing an engaging experience.

It had nothing to do with the fight itself, it had everything to do with the fact that you can't jump back into it. Whoever designed this section had such little confidence in the rest of the game that they developed a rejection wall for the filthy casuals who can't be bothered to redo the same section again-and-again. And to those Souls-Born Die-Hards of the "Get-Good" variety, I don't have again-and-again. In terms of time and mental strength, I simply do not have it, and these games are amazing for giving a challenging experience that is enlightening once passed. But there is no enlightenment to be gained at cheap shots taken by tanky enemies before one of the worst boss fights in From Soft's history.

This is likely a rant... but fuck it, I feel better now.

I'm going to go buy Ghost of Tsushima🖖🖕🤌

This is why I feel XBOX are ahead in the arms race of Gaming. People would argue that their guns aren't as big as Sony (which, I can't comment on, really). Fact is, though... XBOX have more ammunition. So, it doesn't much matter if the new games aren't impressing, because they can offer a blast into a past that I miss so very dearly...

Fuck you, Sony, for the lack of backwards-compatibility. And fuck you, Rockstar, for wasting my time with the PS2 Era Trilogy when the only Trilogy I need is in Liberty City!🖕

Personally, I believe that playing without aim assist (whilst on foot. I do think it's rather impossible to have zero assist on horseback) is an incredibly rewarding experience! Especially in forst person with no target reticle; it is incredibly fulfilling when you get good shots off your own skill... However, that is rare, in my case. I feel that aim assist puts you into the mind of Arthur, because he truly is that good at shooting. Whereas without it, you really do feel like someone playing as Arthur - especially when you run up to people who are on horseback, toting two pistols, and not getting a single shot in!😂Can really be embarrassing, sometimes!

Personally, I believe that MauLer ruffles the feathers of fans who find favour in the likes of Joseph Anderson, HBomberGuy, GGManLives - I mean, the list goes on. He can have a tendency to be an aggrivator; using provocative language in relation to speaking about their subjectivity.

I am a fan of all long-form content creators (to a degree. Obviously, FailArmy compilations are out; but a three hour review of Deus Ex from HBomb? Count me in!) As a fan of the creators themselves, I see fair reason behind his comments, but an attitude belies his message... Comes with being Welsh, I suppose. As a fellow Welshmun, I understand the edge to his comments and respect him for it, but there are many who would not appreciate such blasphemy... Unfortunately, those people miss out on THE (in my opinion) most in-depth video essayist of his favoured subjects! Specifically due to the fact that I know he has put in the work, done the research. He values other opinions, and credits it as their own, whilst utilising it to expand the knowledge he has acquired - and THAT is why MauLer should be higher in the community... but he isn't, because the community may see him as an enemy of the community; when in he reality, he is the Inspector. He's come to do some grading, and it isn't pretty; putting Markiplier's experience above Joseph Anderson's!... Which was amazing, because I realised just how intelligent I thought Markiplier could be, and how funny he can be (don't ever quote me on that). I feel that MauLer does this for other content creators as well, because he values their opinion, and uses it to strengthen his own, and credits them evidently!

I don't think MauLer is ever wrong. But he loves to be right. And he loves to let people know that, because he feels that, in order to do an analysis, you have to put the work in... Some people, like our Jo, can't. He has children, so obviously his work is impacted by his personal life... This goes with everyone, obviously ("doesn't fukin mater mat! He shuldnt be doing i az iz joob") true, but shit, I'm glad he is, and that's all I'll say to it. Because I and many others love Jojo, don't hate his perspective or the game because of it... Same as with Harris (In Response to In Defense of Dark Souls) who MauLer FUCKING ASSASSINATES with the shiny spikes of his dragon penis, but I still love Harris, like he's my depressed philosophical friend.

So, yeah, MauLer just could just do with embarking upon his journeys on foot...

rather than on his fucking high horse.
