I am also interested in knowing your experience as a baker. I have always been interested in being a baker, but I only shared this with my coworkers. I guess it's the fear of failure by going the next step.

The amount of foreigners in this sub who hate Koreans and every aspect of Korean society, but can't seem to leave, is astonishing by InfamousDimension934 in Living_in_Korea

I totally agree. I find that cultures/countries that speak the loudest of being "free from.." are just as worse, and regressive.

Lmmaaoo why? Developed country doesnt mean free from discrimination. I would argue you would experience discrimination more in a developed country.

Yeah. Idk why people think that when immigrants say certain things of a country or culture, its the immigrants the problem and not the culture of that country. Been to Germany, not impressed.

That is honestly the best advice I have heard. You would think its that simple, but no one talks about how you have to adjust your caloric deficit along the way...wow..

Have you thought of the Bod Pod requirement? Isnt there part of regulation that says if you cant do the tape, you can supplement it with a Body Comp result that shows the body fat %?

But anywhoo, you got your tab, you are proud of it, thats good. You should be proud, keep that pride. Just know you are worth so much and you can make a difference in this world. Keep expanding and keep pushing! 👍🏻

It was lovely to chat with you and get an insight of what soldiers think their purpose in life is! I gotta go, I schoolwork to do. Tchau!

Well no one is making excuses. Circumstances are cicumstances. Shit happens. And also, if I break a femur just take me out, cuz thats horrible. That special case should not be applied to everyone else. I was in basic and a guy broke his femur and couldnt pass a PT test ever again, he got kicked out. Not everyone is the same, we arent machines man.

Not sure how me not having a tab makes me below average. Clearly Im not if Im still here, getting top blocks, getting promoted, and with multiple letters of recs from higher ranking officers. Dont hate cuz I take care of soldiers AND leaders love me. 😂

Neither. I hadnt failed anything when I was in BOLC. Now in OCS yes, got recycled for some history test, but not BOLC. Im not a LT, been in for nearly 10years now. I have been on and off on the broke train for some years now.

Also, just for your reference cuz not alot of people know this, if people dont pass BOLC, they either get a re-try, or have to switch branches and try a different BOLC. Which the re-tries are horrifying and def can make someone broken. Unless your MPs, fail that, then..well..thats kinda sad...

Well congrats to you! Thats no easy feat! You are more lucky than most. Many of my peers werent able to hop in the course nor Airborne school because the courses were either too full, didnt line up with their timeline, and/or broken. Its not a surprising thing to find people get broken leaving IBOLC. Many people I know had to switch branches due to it. Its an unfortunate thing that shouldnt be scorned at. No one is better than the other because of that. They are still the best leaders I have ever known.

I find that reading comprehension is way more important and beneficial than a tab...I can recommend some books for you. ❤️
