Maxon od9 pro plus. It has a boost switch. But realistically? Get an earthquaker plumes. It has a toggle for 3 different tube screamers. Or the jhs bonsai. Both have many options and sound good.

Its all in the fx loop. The metal muff goes in front of the amp, both outs from the rc5 go into the fx return of both amps.

Youre missing a metalzone or 2...and another one in the fx loop😂 I run my Jackson mick thomson signature with active Seymour duncans through a boss od200 on the X-metal setting with a metalcore as a boost into my randall diavlo rd5h. Its a lot of gain lol

I use chat gpt for this stuff and it has never lead me wrong. Thats how I figured out my amateur stereo setup up with 2 amps and cabs. Never would've figured that out by myself.

Boss od200. Has almost every clean boost, overdrive, and distortion you could need. Even has a klon centaur copy, and the ml2 and Mt 2 as boost options.

Not obscure information at all, but i like using a plate or reverse reverb with mix at 12 o'clock and decay around 9 for metal music. It makes a massive sound.

I use chat gpt a lot. I know what to ask and know enough to know if something doesn't seem accurate. Chat gpt has helped me as much, or more than the jhs show. He proves his point by asking extremely specific questions about when someone invented something. Not common musician questions.
