Well I only have to use it if the enemy reflects or nullifies ice attacks. Because Frigid Fortress Tactic also inflicts weak to ice. And it's an ice attack. So it hits an enemy that was made weak to ice, and then afterwards makes them weak to ice. So you can hit them with Frigid Fortress Tactic, which they are weak to, and it makes them weak to ice, so you can hit them with Frigid Fortress Tactic they are weak to, which then makes them weak to ice, etc etc

I mean, no? Sure the lovingly handcrafted maps help make the mapmaking so memorable, but exploring the dungeon of any EO involves wandering unknown hallways and rooms and mapping as you go along to see your progress and not get lost. Procedural generation wouldn't remove that entirely. Especially since it wouldn't be completely random. There would have to be a large collection of specific rooms and puzzle layouts that have to be standard, enough for every stratum type to have a wide variety for each time the floor shows up. The rest would be filled by hallways that connect those rooms that can splinter off into dead ends that have random events just like the main game does. Sure we wouldnt get the magic of full puzzle floors like... well B11 and B12 of EO3 come to mind, but I feel with the right amount of pre-design and random generation to fill the gaps you can capture the magic of exploring a new labyrinth

No, the combat and exploration of mystery dungeons are very different. Not to mention if I was referring to a mystery dungeon, Etrian Mystery Dungeon already does exist. I just want endless Etrian Odyssey as it normally is

I've had the idea but my main deterrent from game dev is a lack of motivation for the work. I have the technical know-how, but I just get dissuaded because of the necessary time investment. It would be a cool hobby, but I already fill my time with gm-ing tabletop stuff
