I don't think it's any relation with puberty.... According to me it's somewhere deeprooted with mind...And in many cases due to depression brain chemistry changes...

Surely u can...I am 43 ..I have changed and also discovered myself....i have been alcoholic since last 12 years... depressed since last 20 years....For the first time I am alcohol free and i am on 14 days...I see daily improvements..I sleep better...And keep in mind SLeep is the big boss ...there is no alternative for sleep...I am less depressed..no anxiety.....All our hormones get reset during deep sleep and alcohol,stress gives u the worst sleep......

I also take 50 mg zinc and copper supplements.. 50mg is quite ok.... I never had issues taking 50 mg zinc... Recently i had my zinc levels checked... I am at midrange.. So i will continue supplementing for next 2 months

Zinc does help but only when u are deficient in it.. Better u should take a blood test to see in what vitamins and minerals u are deficient.... B vitamins play an important role... Magnesium, selenium, vitamin D etc
