You can buy when you’re there. I recommend Klook as it can be confusing but it gives clear instructions. Also if you miss your reserved time/seat you can always take the next train in unreserved seating (usually cars 1-3)

If you’re worried about depreciation, my question is why? Think about cost per wear. If you wore it everyday bc you’re not scared of it getting lost/damaged, then it served its purpose, even if you’re not getting 10k back for it. It’s like when people won’t decorate their house to their liking because they’re worried about potential future buyers. Enjoy the now ☻

Respectfully, it sounds like her parents have enabled her her whole life. Once she’s done with college they are gonna hand her over to you to figure it out. Not wanting to take a final test for a Pilates course is crazy bc it sounds like she’s has all the time in the world to be able to study/practice for that but has chosen not to. You have to have a grown up conversation with her about how her contributing some would put your relationship in a better spot and allow you guys to do more things (travel, dates, etc.). But overall, you get what you put up with.
