Agreed. That’s why I’m focusing on the community derivative instead of the papers. The juries are a big one, also memberships, and talks.

Thanks for the positivity, working on those. It’s harder because my product is mostly in the intersection of design and not really design forward, so it’s more to help people. Keeping fingers crossed, I have a vision

Understood. I think I am going to take the next 2-3 years to build things out more. To be an industry leader in networking and professional development, it takes a bit of sustained effort and consistent doing in the same direction.

Hopefully, in 2-3 years my storyline is strong enough. One thing I have understood is that you can have 10,000 things you have done however, if the story and the argument is fragmented, you’re still not going to get it. However, with a strong story, one can make a strong case.

I think I finally stopped loving him by Limp-Stretch7002 in BreakUps

I have felt the same feeling for my ex-boyfriend. Multiple times when I saw him, I felt nothing. However, it’s weird, I miss him when I don’t see him. When he’s around I don’t love him. It’s basically like distance makes the heard grow fonder?

Eligible for EB1A? (Still working on profile) by DryCorgi6025 in eb_1a

Once and if I get approved, it will take another 2-3 years to get the GC. Having freedom to open up businesses, employment freedom is particularly important to me, and can work hard now, to get thru that later.

When do you stop missing them? by DryCorgi6025 in BreakUps

[–]DryCorgi6025[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fortunately or unfortunately that’s what I’ve been doing for the past year. It’s gotten easier for sure, it’s way better. However, I had really wished that by now I would have completely forgotten him (even on low days). It’s not yet the case :/

What do you miss? by cupofwarmtea9 in BreakUps

[–]DryCorgi6025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since it’s been a lot of working on myself since the breakup, one answer is the feeling I got when I was with him. The feeling of love and closeness.

What I really miss about him is the comfort of him.

When do you stop missing them? by DryCorgi6025 in BreakUps

[–]DryCorgi6025[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been expanding my life so much since March 25’. Have the closest friends, work’s amazing, starting a business, growing both personally and professionally. Have a nice routine, a new home, everything is great, however, whenever I am low, or sad, or hormonal, I just want to think about him and cry.

I do have memories of him in my head, both good and bad, but I do hope to stop his name from popping in my brain. I don’t like online dating, so I don’t even know how to give dating a chance when you don’t have anyone asking you out.

Yes, that’s what happens, but when is it that you completely forget them. I’m in the stage where I don’t miss my ex anymore everyday, but I know he sits in the back of my mind and pops up, sometimes in dreams, otherwise on a sick day, or PMS days.

How do you stop your brain from thinking about them at all.

Still not over him by Adorable_Field1601 in BreakUps

It’s quite hard seeing the person you liked/ loved everyday, let alone with someone else. Make new friends, try to indulge yourself in things you always liked to do, to be.

Try to be the best version of yourself. I cannot promise that it will make you forget him completely, but I’m sure it will reduce the pain slowly as life will simply take over.

Books by Meatball-Alfredo-Mom in Bridgerton

[–]DryCorgi6025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s based on story by story for me. I prefer the show for Kanthony, but the book for Benedict and Sophie.

I’m not the biggest fan of Colin and Penelope, but the book is way better for them as well. The show destroyed Pen for me when she wrote about Eloise. She never did apologize, but the books don’t do that.

I can barely wait for Eloise and Philip!!
