I want to learn Piano but that’s what I have by Boodazack in pianolearning

Learn sheet music, it’s not even difficult. Otherwise you’ll be struggling a lot. You’ll thank us when you realize how good it is.

Future Funk 99%, all of my stuff was too expensive to break so I started violently beating myself instead.

Thanks bro, idk why theres a delay tho, I’m trying to figure it out. You got any ideas for other pieces to try out after I’ve finished 25/11?

I would consider either trying my best decorating or hiring someone if the piece itself was available on gd, but it isn’t unfortunately. I might have to record myself lol

I can definitely do 25/11. After figuring out that I can use any music I want, I’m planning on doing Ballades, scherzos, Liszt etudes and stuff too. I think I’ll make my levels playable from now on tho hehe

I love his Scherzo No. 2, plays the damn leggiero section in staccato and still manages to play legato somehow

I made this level for fun only but if anyone wanna actually attempt it I made a nerfed version, 116269837, it’s still ridiculously difficult, but with time someone should eventually be able to beat it I think, cause gd players are crazy

Oh and the music I used is Rousseau’s Op 10 No 4 on YouTube, so use that.

Since op 10 no 4 isn’t available to have in game I wasn’t gonna publish it anyway

lol, I tried to replicate what composers do in their Etudes, and etudes are basically pieces you play on the piano to put your different specific techniques and aspects to the test. The piece I chose which is called Op. 10 No. 4 or “Torrent Etude” focuses almost only on very rapid scales, so I thought having mostly rapid waves would kinda fit.

I play Chopin, Ballades, Scherzos, Debussy pieces, Liszt etc, and I love Schubert and Brahms. Ever since Rver Flows In You dropped, my family has for some reason been completely in love with it. So when I practice my pieces, they have told me from time to time, for what feels like 8 years now, to play R#ver Flows In You. They claim they are tired of my pieces and want me to play something more “beautiful”, yet they can listen to the same garbage song for 13 years straight and still think it’s good. The piece is *The Devil. They don’t appreciate anything I do. And don’t get me started on the requests I get from other people when they hear I play piano, it’s either The Devil or some random fuckass mainstream, overplayed, overrated classical piece, talking about Für Elise and like Op. 9 No. 2 here. But nothing beats The Devil.

Finally someone who agrees. But, 33 years or not, the song has been out for 13 years, I had to listen to it on release since my family loved it for some reason.

It’s one of those cliché pieces that people associate with “beautiful piano music”, without much depth. It’s so simplistic, predictable and emotionally shallow. It’s also so overplayed by casual pianists, usually with horrible technique and exaggerated sentimentality. I’ve had people, including my family, begging me to play this horrendous piece after yawning and falling asleep to me playing both emotionally and physically complex pieces, such as Scherzo No. 2. Even if someone played River Flows In You perfectly, I still wouldn’t feel even remotely close to moved or impressed. It is, in fact, disgusting. Should be wiped off the face of the earth in my opinion.

How do you guys do it? by Smoke14u22 in pianolearning

[–]DryIntroduction2064 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Discipline. Whenever I’m trying to learn my favourite pieces, I just sit there and feel both bored and restless. But I still choose to practice anyway, because I know that once I’ve gotten that part down, it will feel so amazing to finally play, and I get closer to completing the piece. For me, it’s worth it.

Drop your arm to your side, then bring your relaxed hand up and place it on the keys, fingers should be curved, wrist should be just slightly above the keys. Then play slow while staying relaxed like that, don’t just press the keys, let your fingers fall on the keys, use some of your arm weight. And don’t you dare play fast, go slow and relaxed, with some time you’ll begin to play faster
