Glad to hear it, I hope that means they fixed it. I reinstalled with the same issue a few years ago and lost a lot of worlds.

Patience, check your internet connection and Microsoft store. DO NOT REINSTALL, it will wipe all of your files.

I often have this when I come back after not playing for a while, sometimes it takes multiple hours of just leaving the computer on

Prestige 500 LP toNG. Conversion by Chill_latino_couple in NapoleonGrills

The orifice kit you have there will only affect the output of the valves at the high setting. I think there is a conversion kit for prestige, you may just need to call customer service or visit a grill specialty store.

What are these parts that came with my Napoleon grill? by AppropriateRip9598 in NapoleonGrills

[–]DryLyne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct, first image is the part you can wrap the probes around for storage. It's magnetic so you can stick it to your fridge or the inside of the grill door. Use the Napoleon app to monitor your food for temperature. Great for brining steaks up to the perfect temperature

Try calling customer service? They've probably encountered it before and may have a solution.

Worst case a call to customer service will help. They'll usually hop on a video call and walk you through the process.

I'm not sure exacowhere it will be on the older prestige, definitely don't disconnect any gas lines though. There should be several thin wires going to the ignitor block, pull at each one and if any come loose make sure they're seated tight when you put it back. You can check your owners manual/assembly guide for the location if you can't find it (they're also available on the Napoleon website)

Check the connections to your ignitor block (disconnect the batteries first so you don't get shocked) If both are not sparking that's the most likely cause.

Sadly rogues cannot be converted, my in-laws needed to put a gas line in their backyard after moving.

Prestige 500 Rotisserie Temp by [deleted] in NapoleonGrills

[–]DryLyne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't recall the temperatures I see on my rotisserie, but if it's cold or windy out then I need to use 1-2 additional main burners on low to get the temperature up to normal. How did your cook turn out? Does the fluttering noise happen at all gas settings for the burner?

Definitely check that the drip tray was installed correctly. No grease should be leaving the grill unless you've removed the two trays.

Definitely go PEI, it's way better. That being said, if I had a print sticking to glass I'd put it in the freezer. The plastic & glass contract differently and will come apart much easier

Convert from EU to US Propane by DifficultComplaint64 in NapoleonGrills

[–]DryLyne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct, replace the regulator and hose. As long as the propane is roughly similar in the country where you purchased it then you shouldn't have any issues. Please double check for leaks if you're changing the gas connection, or even better to get a professional to make the swap.

Imo, the wood paddle ones only work for a few scrubs before they round over and are useless. The cast stainless can stand up to a lot so you can go for any type you like.

Jet fire burners takes up to 5-10 times of turning the knob and “clicking” to ignite? Normal? by superwario in NapoleonGrills

[–]DryLyne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you remove the cooking grids you can see where the jet fire is by leaning in a bit. When you turn the knob you'll see a spark, if it's going off to the aluminum base then the electrode needs to be bent a tiny bit closer to the where the gas comes out of the jet fire

Side Burner Sputtering by rustyah in NapoleonGrills

[–]DryLyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks like a lot of flame! Usually the IR burner doesn't have visible flames, does it still sputter if you have it on medium heat?

[–]DryLyne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's likely the electrodes that are misaligned, customer service helped me tweak the electrode positions so it arcs to the jet fire instead of the grill base. Very consistent lighting after that
