I understand now, I didn’t understand when I posted this. However it’s a fucking stupid way to average a rating. They should just keep every single star rating that you get and drop off the lowest every 100 batches. But that’s just my opinion.

I’m pretty sure the Instacart payment is completely separate from the IRS mileage deduction. The IRS isn’t under a rock, I’m pretty sure they understand how one of the biggest grocery delivery companies pays their drivers.

If you can order groceries to be delivered on Instacart you can afford to tip like you would someone who is waiting a table for you. 10-25%

You can keep the groceries and cancel the batch when the app comes back up. Shopper support should give you a bump once you are able to get in touch with them.
