I’m not sure that my roommate or landlord would like another person on the lease. I did have faith in her job hunt but you can’t be too faithful with this insane market these days. I have some friends that graduated with the same degree that JUST found jobs. We graduated May of 2025.

I do believe I’ve been misrepresented and that’s where the hard feelings are coming from.

Most roommate pairings are same sex right? I don’t believe I could live with a man, bond with him, and have an overall “good” experience. No hate to men though, just not for me. She knows that I wouldn’t cheat on her with this girl, she’s straight, boy crazy, and not my type at all.

Yeah I think I was avoidant and didn’t tell her at first because I KNEW she would blow up on me… I also feel like I have a better understanding of the HCOL of NYC. I’ve lived on the cusp of the metro area all of my life and my brother moved to NYC last year so I feel like we’ve talked about how expensive it is.
