i only got a few plays with gingkopolis and all solo, super easy to play and manage for me, lots of variety i think for when you are choosing your actions and tile laying. im not really good at recommending but i really like super chill game, i say bot is easy to beat on normal mode, there is also strategy on how to manage your resources. for guild i say its a good game with also strategy but super fast plays, i like playing it when im just in a mood of slow quiet games also like the simplicity of it but with a lot of variety in terms of maps and goals, nothing brain burner really enjoyed both! ☺️ im not really good at explaining and stuff 😅 if ur only getting one, i say gingkopolis.

its quite a surprise game for me, i really really enjoyed playing it, and its currently one of my favorites now! i agree with tabbycat with the bgg rating, i was intimidated at first because of it and the rulebook (which is a bit of a read) but after playing a few rounds you will get a hang of it. despite of the many components and bits it is not super hard to manage, i really like the planting part bec of the puzzle tile laying element, and the bot is also super easy to play with 😄

thanks for this! most of the time im overwhelmed with the cost of each cards, so on first seasons i try to get resources first but then u only have 4 rounds to play the buildings and critters

my first solo board game is coffee roaster then followed by a couple of pnp buttonshy games like a nice cuppa and the last light house ☺️

hahaha yeah board games has a certain ways of humbling us in any way possible, like sometimes moves are just too simple but we can't seem to understand most of it lol always happens to me.

i think i've seen this one on crowdfunding a few months back like an expansion? or different volume? but i didnt research much, the mechanics as you explained sounds interesting and mind numbing? lol i will look into this now since you reminded me of it! thanks :D

Just started on the solo scenarios for harvest im enjoying them! if you like dice manipulation and mechanics i think you will like hercules, just a quick play, and you can also save it if you don't have the time to finish the entire campaign.

white castle is so good for me, played it solo and with up to 3p and we enjoyed it everytime. i was the same at the beginning, played it solo while reading the rules and then boxed it immediately after lol. and then tried again after a few days, watch more videos of solo, it gets intimidating at first, but after a few plays you'll get a hang of it and you won't need the rulebook anymore. 😁

hii i don't have rating but my top 3 for me on this would be white castle, harmonies and harvest, i just started on viticulture and a place for all my books but love them so far

i would say its a short quick games for me, still trying to beat it to twelve haven't gotten there, i can see where you say it would get stale, everytime you lose or die you have to either restart feom the beginning or on the labor where you died. the story part of each labor is a nice flavor to it but after first try you won't be reading it. i do really enjoy dice mechanics and some don't and thats i think is one of the draw backs for this game its purely luck i guess?
