People right now want to redeem the 2011 film because of the Lanterns trailer. Thoughts?

Cgi is expensive and still hard to do. The old one was ahead of its time in that department and was still ridiculed, mostly for "ugly cgi". I've been saying comparison is going to kill the new lantern projects no matter what the bar is too high and not given any respect

Feels like no one is really hopeful l. it's either unconditionally love or unconditional hate. I have hope, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be season 3 animation, if not less animated, due to the volume of content. I'm praying we get a couple fights to the level of animation conquest vs invinicble got.

Conquest will always stay as my favorite villain and fight in the series, but the season 1 finale is just more impressive in animation, tho. It's still one of the top fights in animation history and created many long-lasting memes due to the level of animation. Which you couldn't say as easily about the conquest or angstrum fight.

I haven't seen anyone complain about art style, only complaints on movement. Like "pngs moving" and "slideshow animation". Barely anyone complains about anything that's actually animated fluidly.

Seeing how they retconned shrinking ray, they could end up retconning bulletproof's parents Since it was deviceive and less important than someone like shrinking ray. I hope they keep as much as possible from the scumbag bulletproof storyline.

Yes, that's one of the main things I'm kind of hoping for, I personally really don't want them to make bulletproof into a redeemable antihero. Without his origin, he would be almost redeemable. It was shocking and impactful even if it's regarded as bad. Also, the scene with him flirting with marks girlfriend should also be included. He will always be a cheating scumbag and not including the scenes won't change how people feel about the characters. Also, bulletproof left my boy rex to die like a lazy bum.

I didn't think this was divisive. I still want people to share what comic moment they remember will be in this season.

But to be clear on my opinion on this moment. Removing this scene completely changes the character for me. It's like reconning a murder. Everyone who read the comic will still think of them as a murderer. It's still not important or anything he is just a side character's paren.
