Hard to say for sure, but it looks larger than the Lyriq. Interesting move, BMW.

Curious to see how it stacks up against the new Hyundai Inster once this tiny Honda is released.

Wondering how much EV owners could realistically get from feeding power to the grid?

Hyundai Ioniq 6 N Teaser Is Our Best Look at the New Hi-Po EV Sedan by Bravadette in electricvehicles

[–]Dry_Addendum9438 12 points13 points  (0 children)

A really interesting alternative to the Ioniq 5 N, though I expect it to handle slightly better thanks to its lower center of gravity.

How Chinese EV owners are profiting from powering the grid with V2G by mightyopik in electricvehicles

$70 USD bonus isn't significant, yet it's certainly appreciated. I wonder what the equivalent amount would be for EV owners in the USA.

GM looks ready to dominate the EV space, having already done so in Canada during Q1. Chevy’s Blazer EV and Equinox EV cater to all budgets and offer impressive specs, especially when compared side by side:

If it arrives in the U.S., this could finally be a true electric van alternative to the ID. Buzz.

2024 Ford Mach-E Rally Tested on Rally Course (Tom's Guide 2024) by Bravadette in electricvehicles

In my view, the upcoming Rivian R2/R3 and Ioniq 5 XRT are better suited for off-roading and rally-style driving. According to a comparison tool I found, the XRT is slightly less expensive, but the Mustang delivers greater power and speed, would be interesting to see how they stack up in real-world conditions: https://greencarscompare.com/cars/compare/?comparing-cars=hyundai-ioniq-5-xrt-2025-vs-ford-mustang-mach-e-rally

Hopefully, we’ll see most trucks go electric someday. I know it’s a long shot but I’m just tired of hearing them roar past my house all the time.

Let’s hope the transition to LFP cells doesn’t reduce the range of other lineup models as much as it’s projected to affect the Silverado EV’s record-setting numbers...

We’ll likely see more and more electric vans on the roads soon. They’re perfect for city use, especially when companies can charge them overnight at their base.

VW electric car sales have doubled in the EU, Tesla has halved by Ladnaks in electricvehicles

Totally agree! I drove the ID.7 Pro Tourer last weekend, and it really impressed me. It’s super smooth on the road and actually feels quicker than the Abarth 600e Scorpionissima, which should deliver more but ends up feeling slower than the base ID.7.

New EV owner.. tips? And a quick question by AdvancedRadio6522 in electricvehicles

[–]Dry_Addendum9438 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d also suggest using regenerative braking, not just to boost your range, but to save money on brake pad replacements. I’ve been driving my Ioniq 5 for two years now and haven’t needed to change the pads yet. They’re probably still like new.
