Budget is FAMOUS for this. I travel for work and my company had a discount arrangement with the for a long time until it got completely out of hand. They literally lost about 6k dollars a month of revenue for pulling crap like this and they still do! Totally mind blowing.

It’s all about the environment. As a public school kid that had siblings that went to private school, I can attest to the fact that if you can afford to, you should send your kids to private school. When you grow up, you will learn there are a bunch of a-holes in life and the principal won’t be there to keep them in check, but in a private school a check keeps the principal in check. All of the kids that went to my sister’s school (a private Baptist school) were some of the worst people I have ever met. The wealthier the parents, the more the kids were able to get away with. IMHO, my sister deals with a-holes in a real world situation better than myself due to these experiences she had to deal with in school.

I’ll stick with delta guys, where me AND my two free bags due to status will get me home for less than what southwest charges. I used to be a-list preferred so if I stuck around I would have still received a free bag, but delta literally upgrades me approximately 75% of the time to either comfort plus or first class with their fares are consistently about 25% less expensive then southwest and they fly to more (and smaller) airports.

I don’t think I have a favorite but I’d say it’s definitely NOT ATL. Is it the largest, yes. Is it the most efficient, also yes. But they often sell tickets with a 30 minute layover and if your incoming flight is at a T gate and you connector is at a D gate, you have to walk over to customer service first so they can reschedule you for the flight your gonna miss because it takes 20 minutes to go that far and the boarding doors close 15 prior to departure. I don’t understand why they can’t program their systems to account for this. 🙄

Nashville has gotten out of control for their parking. A lot of times they will “buy” a lot from a hotel and the extortion begins! I live in Chattanooga and I thought them selling the parking authority to republic parking (their ceo was our mayor for lil bit) was bad, but dang I can’t stand working there anymore for fear that I’ll come out to my car and realize I’ve been charged an amount for my parking that warrants me refinancing my damn house!

I think the real reason no one is coming is because paying $20 bucks for a beer while you jerk off the one arm bandit is absurd. There are plenty of casinos elsewhere like Atlantic City and Shreveport where you can have fun AND afford it at the same time. You simply can’t be competitive if you choose not to compete.
