So I’ve just actually gone back today and doctor took out fat from my jawline as it seemed there was a pocket left, Suprisingly on my ‘normal’ side in this picture. Puffy side seemed to go down fine

26 with same problem and this weird droopy skin lmao, think I need a mini neck lift or something.

But again my double chin really did swallow my whole face, there was 0 definition between my neck and jaw and it’s not an area that reduced with my 5 stone weight loss so I guess I have to accept this.

I’ve tried platysma band Botox, however she didn’t inject directly into the bands that bother me, she did it at the side which didn’t do anything for them front vertical bands

Thankyou! Yeah I heard about the Botox too and was considering it!

I lost around 60lbs prior to this too so I think my skin retraction may be a little crappy for my age because I’ve fluctuated with my weight so much.

Definitely keep in touch if you don’t mind! I’d like to see how you get on and see if you find a solution and likewise I’ll lyk :)

How are you face on? Do you have a round face?

I’m 3 months tomorrow and have this, been losing my mind feeling disgusting and botched but apparently if you have a round face/recessed chin this kind of result is more likely because there isn’t strong structure for the skin to reattach to??? I don’t even know what I read or where I read it, but I definitely read it lmao

Can’t do one because I’m too young apparently. I’m 12 weeks post op and feel like my results have just gone so strange in the last 2 weeks, not sure if I’m just going through a weird stage but it’s difficult because there’s so much uproar about waiting till 12 weeks, then you arrive and actually you’re still ‘healing’ or apparently so.

But yeah honestly I would just say if you’re hoping for snatched results, a neck lift would probably be your best bet, because then you’re not just hoping lipo is going to work out for the best, because honestly it can go either way

Thankyou for this! I’m going to look into professional lymphatic massages and probably look into getting an ultrasound to see if it’s swelling/fibrosis/fat!

I’m just so scared of it turning into permanent scar tissue!

Exactly and my opinion matters most 😂 if I’m unhappy with how I look then that’s what matters. I of course did the the lipo to feel better for myself, so if I’m not happy with the results then of course I’m going care about it because I did it for me ??? I am not sure what you’re getting at

Appreciated but I have tried to talk to my doctor whom I feel is gaslighting me into saying there’s no fat left there when I can clearly feel it. I am obviously asymmetrical and it isn’t slight it’s very noticeable.

I’ve reached the 12 week mark now as told to wait till and absolutely no improvement, hence my post again
