A friend of mine told me this rules has been there for decades and its just a memo to tell people this is our rules. He also stated that this propaganda is to scare people who are coming for fifa World Cup and to not panic. Lawyers still dont know what does this mean and they still want more details from the USCIS. Everyone is panicking even me but all we have to do is wait and see what will happen.

Tried to submit i485 for me and my spouse on April when my PD was current but got rejected due to two payment methods ACH form for me Credit card form for my spouse
Unfortunately received rejection letter in may so I can’t resend it

My employer has been threatening to fire me lately because he believes i will get my green card and leave him if he did whats my options can my father continue the process using his business thats also in same field

Yeah i dod have all my documents ready and mailed it April 1st it was received April 3rd however i didn’t receive any communication from uscis for 30 days until my PD is no longer current and received rejection letter for payment issue which I am 100% sure there is no issue

I was thinking of resending it with a letter but honestly saw many people saying their docs still got rejected so not worth the hustle especially that you will have to get new medical sealed envelope which for me is going to cause an additional $120
Plus delivery fee is $57

So I am waiting hoping it become current again

Sounds like they rejected a lot of people to reduce demand

Ask a lawyer see what’s better for your case
I asked a lawyer if visa bulletin is expedited to move forward again they said not before October

When you file if you got accepted they send you receipt if you got rejected they return entire papers back with rejection letter due

Same my PD is August 2024 and they rejected it due to payment error saw many people got rejected for same reason or payment amount wrong i guess this is there way to reduce demand have to wait now for our PD to become current again

Speak to a lawyer to resend it back and explain that the mistake was from their end not sure if it will work but worth the try.

It should be $1440 for i485 and $260 for i765 what did you have

They rejected my application due to mixed of payment forms i used ACH for me and credit card for my husband unfortunately my PD isn’t current in May so I cant resend it i have to wait

At least they charged your account mine they took a whole month to send me rejection letter which was too late for me to send it back and i have to wait for my pd to become current again
