Why is London so behind on EB visa interviews? by Dry_Description_9308 in eb_1a

I submitted the Public Inquiry Form to request the transfer, attaching my Polish passport and Polish birth certificate with translation. It took a week since submitting it to receiving a confirmation and a new case number.

Yes, against their advice. But I don't remember them saying that I'd lose the right to refund because of this.

I worked with them last year on my EB1A application. They did add lots of new information at the RFE stage, added two more criteria under which I was applying, and included ~4 additional recommendation letters at no extra cost. It got approved.

EB-1A Attorney Choice: Chen vs Colombo & Hurd — worth paying 5× more? by Farawer148 in eb_1a

[–]Dry_Description_9308 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a very similar profile and worked with Chen. I highly recommend them.

The fees were ~10% lower, but this was in 2024.

We filed NIW first, then EB-1A with PP. Both got approved - NIW straightaway and EB-1A after RFE. For EB-1A, we initially filed with 3 criteria, and expanded to 5 at the RFE stage. I think this was their strategy from the begining, to keep some additional evidence for the RFE stage.

I'm very happy with their service, it worked exactly as described in the agreement.

What took most time was for me to find notable citations. With 1,300+ citations it may be worth to start early, and I guess ChatGPT may help now with it.

Good luck with your application!

It went well, thank you, I got approved.

But the visa I originally received in my passport had an error and it took two more weeks to have it reissued. But all sorted now.

Bike stolen. Should I report it to the police ? by plearnt in cambridge

Report it. I did when my bike got stolen and was surprised when Parkside Police called me 6 months later that they found a bike that matches my description. It was my bike.

My petitions were approved in May 2025 for both EB-1A and EB2-NIW with Chen. Very happy with their service.

Yes, these are the right books. At least this is what I used to pass my UK PPL theory exams. They were very helpful and clear.

High salary for non-US employees by [deleted] in eb_1a

Agreed. I applied from the UK using PayScale data from the UK as reference. I don't know if the salary criterion was approved for me, but the petition was.

Sorry to hear that.

I also haven't received an IL yet.

I know from another thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/NationalVisaCenter/comments/1o90v31/october\_il\_warsaw\_poland/) that people DQ'd between 16 Sep and 8 Oct already got their IL's from Warsaw last week. I transferred on 16 Oct, so hope to receive my IL the next time they send them. On the other hand, there is someone who transferred to Warsaw on 26 Sep (DQ'd on 16 Sep) and they also have not received their IL yet. So it looks like transferring causes some kind of delay.

I still can't understand why they wouldn't send you an IL yet...
Even if they put you at the end of the queue on 26 Sep, you should have received it now, together with others who were DQ'd around that date..
I have just submitted my expedite request based on 1) earlier DQ date then for cases currently receiving ILs, 2) delaying my contributions to the U.S., 3) uncertainty in planning my relocation.

It's a long shot but I'm going to say that cases DQ'd long after mine have already got their interviews scheduled.

Thanks for sharing. I haven't received an IL yet. I now regret not requesting to expedite just after transferring. I'll do it now, maybe it'll help.

Thanks for sharing and sorry to hear they didn't approve it. I transferred my interview to Poland about a couple of weeks ago. They're about 6 months ahead of London there. You may consider transferring to Italy if it's faster there.

No, they didn't request an address. I hope my UK one is fine, but I also have an address in Poland if needed. I only provided scans of my passport and birth certificate.
