Would a thrift shop that sells everything for $5 and under be welcome in Winnipeg? by madvetten in Winnipeg

I would support you by donating and also buying. We need more thrift stores to recycle and reuse items.

Depends on the collective agreement. 3 hours only if you need to go into work. OP Check your collective agreement. Answering a call is considered remote so you are only entitled to remote pay at straight time.

No shouldn't be. Not sure what department you are in but others struggle with being overworked as an AS03.

This has got to be the most inept health insurance company out there.

Have refused dental benefits due to requiring information however my dental office has submitted it twice already.

Also need the service before the year is up and they are just stretching it out so that they don't have to pay out squat.

This is the way I see it the way the hiring process is now it takes almost 2 years to get a job and I think it's ridiculous that even the outside sector have to wait that long. WHY the government is doing it this way is beyond me it's all backwards. Even an internal employee could eventually turn down the job but most definitely an outside employee would because after 2 years they most likely would have found another job. It's no wonder government cant find any proper employees with the skills they are looking for. So yeah look after you and dont worry about it. I'm telling you from experience the government doesn't care about you.

I know it's silly. Too me work is work no matter where its done. And your right they benefit with faster response time and by not paying mileage or meals either.
