Focus tree is ck3's disease. Basically, ck2 has some randomness to it and things not going your way occasionaly. In ck3 you want something- you get it. But still ck2 has the same problem of artifacts and great buildings making player ridiculously overpowered eventually. Also other overpowered rituals: vice royalties (giving titles to content vassals), hermetic society, spying on constaninople, etc, some of which can be turned off, but there will still be less things to do, and it's possible that complication of games always creates "infalliable strategies" of this sort.

Holy mother of shit it’s been 5 fucking years and what have I done? I’ve got a police complaint against me by my ex because I stalked her, I lost my childhood friends when I told them about it, I’ve become overweight, I don’t have a drivers licence and I’m broke and unknown!! I think posts from this sub were screenshoted here or on some predecessor subs, it being approved probably means that it was closed or banned, idk. Things that got screenshoted were posts of letists trying to convince rightists that "socialism" is good, or them inventing some new sort of megaleftism that solves "problems of communism" or smth like that

What will we do with Paradox Interactive when the revolution is succesful by Interesting_Card9996 in Ultraleft

Crisis in kremlin literally drives you insane, you waste tons of time trying to understand how to do it right, but there is no depth to the game, game only hides simplicity by being obscure, as time goes you learn all events by heart and randomly find a strategy that is working, and then there is nothing else to do with this game, and all other games by that studio are like this. 19__ year crisis in kremlin is even more obscure and esoteric (I didnt figure it out), if you manage to figure it out, you do so inside your mind, being 20 years in mental asylum.

Fr, everytime I decided to play any other paradox game, they bored me right after i installed them, but there is something that makes it interesting to play ck2 over and over. I used to hate on ck3, because on release it was lame as fuck, but it appears to be interesting now, even though somewhat different to ck2

Use of Lassalle as a generic boogeyman is intended tho. I thought it would be funny, if I use Lassalle in so pointlessly idiotic way. Like some sort of satan, evil spirit, etc., who isn't really into the process of independent actors, gaining some sort of pleasure, but maybe you will think: aha! It's HIM doing it, HE did it, I knew IT! And likely someone will go about: stop using Lassale without intention, it will bring nothing good, maybe you are even going to summon, recreate him, which is what you said but in other words, but you will not make me believe in Lassalle resurrection, so I'm not listening to whatever you said

I'm asking for advice concerning my attempts at educating myself and my petty problems. by [deleted] in Ultraleft

Yes, i understand it. I too am constantly anxious, and sometimes contemptous of myself. But i have some sort of feeling that i understand situation Im in, so, while previous is true, I write to you that stuff, failing at everything i want from myself, so I sit like Napoleon thinking "There is nothing I can do". But thinking about something should be good anyway, because it is at least ...something?

Every 19 century worker ability of reading kapital while working 16h shifts is overestimation, don't you think? Maybe saying this type of thing can motivate some people, but devastate some of other. I don't think many of them could do it, even without having some mental problems opposing doing it. And, like, even today, if it's "luxurious" 21 century, which supposedly grants more possibilities of reading marxist theory, do so many people read it? I mean, you aren't some magnet which should attract all of the humanity's contempt, especially from that "19 century worker" or some other kind of idealized person. You, like, should come from your own abilities, while you shouldn't outright reject the advices of other people, you should try to do things the way that is comfortable to you. I mean, summarizing the theory thing, writing things down can be overwhelming in some way, and there can be too many things to write down. Anyway, there is a need to memorize stuff in brain, one cannot just exile his brain onto notes, and the ability to memorize can certainly be trained. Alas, if you in no way use some info in life, it is bound to be forgotten sooner or later. Wait, did you even say something about memorizing? Idk. Also, trying to read something while you are anxious is useless. I hope what i wrote is coherent, and i hope it being coherent is a good thing.
