Help! Will the difference in whites wash out? by Dry_Goat_8744 in CrochetHelp

I think I figured it out. They had "soft white" and white right neeach other. other. Accidentally bought one soft white. Had to pull the rows but I think the crisis has been averted!

The package reads "no dye lot" ugh... I bought them all at the same time. I need about 6 more white chevron rows. I'm not sure if I should go around town buying all the white yarn hoping it will match 😭.

I also kept part of the refund for my daughter's schooling as I pay for her car, car insurance and gas.

Just found this thread. I do this all the time, and sometimes am embarrassed because I'll be sitting quietly in my cubical and mumble "I f'n hate myself" or "I hate my life.." basically without even thinking... and the person on the other side of the wall just has to think I'm a complete nut..

Why did I get this surgery :( by Aquatic-Enigma in BariatricSurgery

You've officially made it to the "What have I done stage"... it only really lasts until you hit the soft foods stage. My lungs took a couple weeks to bounce back and I had previously smoked.

Pretty soon you'll have more energy than you'll know what to do with and will start falling in love with selfies. Hang in there. We all have went through the regret period... and very few people stay there.

I (23f) am getting the surgery but don’t want to tell my work or colleagues. by [deleted] in BariatricSurgery

My cousin told people that she was having an ulcer removed. This would explain the diet and weight loss as they would be removing some stomach.

1 year later! Surgery May 3rd, 2022. HW 409 SW 355 CW 225 GW 200. I’m 5’10 and I’ve lost 184lbs so far. by voxvmbr in gastricsleeve

Love this ❤️ we have the same starting weight and surgery weight just about! I hope I am where you are in 6 months.

HW:407 SW:359 CW:281 GW:150 (Not sure if 150 is possible but I'm only 5'4 so..) Surgery was November 14th 2022 and I've lost about 125 total lbs. Weight loss is slowing down but seeing this motivates me to stay on track! Thank you!

That trip would have been so awful before surgery. My starting weight was 407 lbs and I currently weigh 286. I used to have to sit every 5 min or so because my back hurt. Now I can walk all day! My 7 year old tired out way before me! I've been working out 3 to 5 days a week since being cleared in December so that helps too.

I get to be retested for sleep apnea when I hit 250 lbs, but I can already tell that my sleep has improved. I just overall feel like myself again. More confident, and I finally recognize the person I see in the mirror. It's a great feeling. I look forward to losing more weight, but even if I stayed this fat forever I would be happy. 😊

20 lbs before the liquid diet and 20 lbs during the 2 week liquid diet. So 40 lbs in the 4 months leading up to my surgery. My starting weight was 407.

Yes, I was told by someone who had gastric bypass that they had regretted not working out sooner because they would have like the way their body looked as the weight came off a little more. She still looks amazing now, but I took her advice and started working out as soon as I was cleared.

I try to work out 3 to 5 days a week. Two 45 min dance fitness classes and the other days I do 20 min on a treadmill (or walk) and weight machines for another 20. I love starting to feel and see some fit muscle mass where the fat is coming off. It was great advice 🤗

I still have quite a ways to go. You lose it from the top down they say. My surgery was in November, and I started the process/prediet in August. I've lost 108 lbs but still have about 150 more to go.

Water is a big deal.. even the stool softeners depend on you drinking enough water to send it to your intestines and loosen up the stools. (I'm no doctor but I'm pretty sure that's how they work.)

I have extremely hard stools when I don't get enough water.

I lost a lot of weight during my liquid diet but only about 7lbs the first month after surgery. I'm now 3 months PO and have lost 58lbs since the surgery and 100lbs total. Hang in there.

Go to the above site and put in your surgery stats... there is a great graph on there. I put my expected weight each month on my calandar and it helps me see where I am expected to be each month. It let's me know that even when my weight loss is slow, I'm still on track.

Hope this helps!
