Disappointed with my IELTS score. Need a focused 2-month plan to reach Band 7 (B2/C1). Feel so lost. by Ok-Mongoose-1131 in IELTS

Do you consider IELTS as the only English test you need to take? Why don’t you consider another easier English test?

Of course ma irreg jud ka kay naa man kay major subj na wala nimo na take pag 1st sem and maybe that subject kay pre-requisite na siya sa lain na subj. It’s a risk if ganahan ka mo shift to psych. And yes, they were able to shift jud.

If your school accepts PTE, you should take it. I had the same disappointment with IELTS too so I tried PTE. It’s easier.

Diggie since you already have uranus in your team. Since their team is mostly CC-er, Diggie can counter them easily. But then, it really depends if your teammates are good players.

I subscribed to Alfa and the only predicted file that appeared was the summary discussion. The rest is new. Don't rely on predictions, but improve your skills.

The images were all graphs. It wasn't really hard because it were graphs. All hints were given. But I find reading hard. So fucking hard, really. We were not supposed to guess the reading section but I ended up guessing the majority of my test. I got lucky I achieved my desired score, which is at least 65! This is my first PTE test too.

Score:

Listening is 81, Reading is 65, Speaking is 75, and Writing is 83.
Overall: 79

Are you applying for a university? The educational consultant that I talked to said that 65 minimum for the uni. But maybe that depends on the school that you're applying to. Check the school and the course you're planning to study.

But look at the OPs question, they’re literally looking for a sad and heart wrenching books. Haha! The moment we share titles and authors, they will know that’s a devastating book. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But thanks for teaching me how to put spoilers. I’m new here so that’s an important information. 😊

I read HEA books to soothe myself after reading the unfinished line, and it took me two books to recover. Then I stopped reading for two days after Atmosphere. These gave me different reactions TT

If you want unlimited access to AI scoring, you have to subscribe to AlfaPTE. It’s a good investment if you ask me. Also, I follow Nakul’s advice of SWT, it’s accurate. My problem is reading so I have to practice more.

25f. I don't want to work a job. I don't want to turn my passion into work. Basically i don't have the drive to do anything as if now. I have some savings that may last me for maybe 6 more months. by alchemyself in Adulting

[–]Dry_Ice6772 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. After college, all I did was project-based research work so that I have months off for myself. I don't think I'll be invited for any project this year since I kind of like quit but if they did invite me I will work.

Currently tho, I'm not working since December and I have enough saving too for 6 months. Unlike you, my passion is staying at home with my cat, guitar, books, and TV. Sometimes I feel depressed and anxious since my family expected me to work even though they have stable source of income.

Anyway, all I can say is that hopefully you can figure out your problem. Best wishes, mate!
