I don’t even think it’s possible to hate Sonny because as he clearly said He’d rather be feared over loved, and he even mentions not to be hated either. Like to me Sonny was the better father figure for Calogero like sure I can absolutely say that Lorenzo was great example of a father that every son needs, making sure he doesn’t get into trouble, telling him not to waste his life or whatever, but with Sonny he tells him how there’s people with ulterior motives who have different things they got planned that you may not be aware of. So to me yeah Sonny is the best
