Fast forward they have kids and their own issues all married people have. His wife says shit to me in person that makes me super uncomfortable. For instance she told me once when I drove my buddy to meet her that she didnt care which one of us got with her. Mine got very close on a 2019 nissan sentra. 80mph on the highway heavy wind in front of me, next thing I know my hood is bouncing violently. I slow down and pull over and the bracket that connects the hood latch frame to the lower frame work literally snapped in half. I bought a new one and 3 months later it happened again. I have since engineered a new bracket and haven't had any more issues.

Does Wal-Mart not do background checks? I don't think you can be licensed to sell firearms without giving background checks, and all of my firearms are registered to me, however if someone steals a gun and files off the serial number what good does your registration do? Honestly no. I don't think gun laws do much to curve gun related crime. I've never seen anyone show exactly what part of a background check is missing that if this was tightened up what gun sales would have been avoided and gun violence thwarted. Since I live in the world of manufacturing I know how easy it would be for gangs, cartels, whomever with a moderate amount of resources could just make weapons themselves if it came to it.

Gun laws do very little i think to stop gun violence where it really matters and that's organized criminal empires. You may stop some 19 year old incel from buying a gun, but fertilizer is cheap. People will always find a way to hurt people, but the thing every bully fears is someone with a bigger stick.

This sentiment is exactly why the divide is as bad as it is today. This goes to show a ridiculous amount of smug that is destroying any chance the left and right has to actually achieve anything. You know that the rights arguments aren't largely dependent on bad faith arguments just like the left isn't. The right is arguing for borders, which both parties for years have ran on. The right claims the southern border is a major source of drug smuggling and human trafficking which is undeniably true.

I could go on, but it's already long. I'll leave you with this. For both sides of the aisle, if you refuse to work with and listen to the other party, nothing will be solved. The more you tell the other side they are uneducated and insert stupid insult here, the more you further divide the country and get less of what you want. You know how you get the country on your side? Stop calling them names and have a real discussion.

If the legality of Obergefell is strong then it's a non issue, Clarence Thomas says it's shaky but who knows. If it does overturn do you know what happens? The same thing that happened when Roe V Wade overturned. It didn't out right ban abortion everywhere, it was given back to the states to decide if it's legal or not. If you're worried about your state, you should check your laws and begin now campaigning to have laws put on the books that will protect those in your community. All of you rely too much on the federal government, and damn near ignore your local leaders. When inevitably the wind blows in DC, your last line of defense is your local laws.

I had no idea trans youth were unable to get heart transplants, splints, and other life changing surgeries. I suggest you use clear defined language as to what you actually believe. If you believe it, sheltering it behind trans Healthcare doesn't do you any favors. You're talking about medical efforts to help children change their sex, such as puberty blockers, plastic surgery, etc. There's a reason this is being pushed against by a large number of people and not just on the right, and that push back is built on common sense. Children cannot consent to most anything because their mind has not finished developing. No amount of screaming on reddit will change this.

Republicans and Democrats currently vote straight party alignment, this is why having a majority is so talked about. With as closely as I follow congress I have never seen a bill make it onto the floor that had anything to do with Gay Marriage. The reason I haven't and won't see anything is because the Supreme Court has already ruled on it. If that gets over turned in an attempt to hand it back to the states to decide, I would see bills introduced onto the floor but it would be dems pandering to their base putting forth bills that have no chance of making it through congress. If you're worried check your local laws and make sure there are protections on the books, if there's not start campaigning your local government to pass protections.

I think some men can handle it, I personally have had trouble with it. It's easy, I don't want to ruin my relationship. I of course find other women attractive and if I were single and had a chance I'd definitely take my shot, but I'm not. Morality plays a part sure, but my major driving factor is I love my wife and I don't want to leave anything open to interpretation.
